of David's help, I learned a lesson earlier than others. If we are brave enough to refuse the bullying, our school will become safer and healthier. We believe we are able to say no to bullying.

Long long ago, people led a hard life. They often suffered from hunger. There was a brave man namedShennong. He (care) a lot about others. With his help, people had enough food. But they still got sick (easy). So, Shennong decided to find as many medicines as he could.

One day, he tasted a small green leaf. It made him feel good. He knew it was a useful medicine. And he taught people how (make) and drink it. From then on, people regarded him as the(one) person who found tea. But Shennong didn't stop. He kept (taste) different herbs(药草) and wrote down his findings. Some herbs made him much (strong). Others made him very sick. Unfortunately, one day he tasted a deadly herb.(it) name was duanchangcao. Before he could do anything, the poison(毒素)spread through his body, and he died.

Today, people still remember Shennong. They tell (story) about his kindness and courage. And whenever they drink tea, they think of him.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(心肺复苏术), or CPR, saves lives, but not as many as it should. Why? Too few people know how to do it. When a person has a heart problem in public or at home, there is often no one to help. Every minute without CPRlowers the chance of survival. In fact, only about 1 in 10 cardiac arrest(心脏骤停)patients can survive.

Cindy Huang, 49, is one of the lucky ones. She was running a 10-mile race in Washington, D. C.when she suddenly fell from a heart attack. The only reason she survived was that bystanders(旁观者)knew CPR and did it right away. It took them just eight minutes to bring her back. Three months later, she was fully recovered(康复)."I keep thinking how lucky I was," she said.

Alex, a college student, was one of those bystanders. He learned CPR in school."I never thought I could save someone with the help of CPR I learned in class. But it really worked. This is the most unforgettable experience for me." he said.

"We know that bystander CPR can double or even triple someone's chance of survival," said ComillaSasson, a doctor."It is a hands-only skill. You don't need to blow into the mouth. Just push hard and fast in the center of the chest, and call 911. Everyone can learn it in just a minute or two. CPR is not just for doctors. It really matters!"

Floods can be very dangerous, and knowing what to do can help keep you and your family safe.

Never drive or walk through floodwater. The moving water can be strong enough to push you or your car away. Also, there are unsafe things under the water; like holes or broken glass.

 If you are told to leave your home, go right away. If floodwater starts coming into your house, go to the highest floor. Get onto the roof and signal for help if necessary.

Be careful with water and food after a flood. It is dirty and can make you sick. Listen for advisories(通报) to boil water. Your local officials will let you know when the water is safe for use. Throw away any food that may contact with floodwater.

Keep yourself warm after a flood. Try to stay indoors and wear warm clothes. If you use a generator(发电机)to make power or heat your home, always keep it outside, far away from windows and doors. If the gas gets inside your house, it can make you sick or even cause death.

Imagine a robot running past you in a race and winning! On April 19,2026, a humanoid(人形的) robot named Flash did just that. With a cool red body, Flash finished the 21-kilometer half-marathon in 50 minutes and 26 seconds. That broke the human world record of 57 minutes and 20 seconds. However, one year ago, the winning robot finished in 2 hours and 40 minutes. What a huge step!

Flash was made by Honor, a Chinese smartphone company. The company's robots took the top three places in the race. They ran all by themselves, using cameras and sensors(传感器) to"see" the road. Last year,the robot's battery(电池) had to be changed five or six times during the race. Each change took three to four minutes. This year, it took only ten seconds! Special cooling systems also helped keep the motors from getting too hot.

China's robotics industry is growing fast. In 2025, Chinese companies sold more than 80% of all humanoid robots around the world. Beijing has set up robot training areas and data collection centers covering over 18,000 square meters in E-Town, Haidian and Shijingshan districts. These places collect useful data to help make robots even better. Who knows? Next time,a robot might break another record right in front of your eyes!

This was a really interesting experience, but I cannot imagine(想象) living without electricity for more than a few days.
