The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival in China. There are many traditional  (民间的) stories about this festival. However, my favorite is the story of Chang'e. On that day, family members always get together to have a big meal and (欣赏) the moon. Normally, people connect the full moon with reunion and happiness. However, for my dad, the true meaning of the Mid-Autumn Festival is missing the (亲戚) in his hometown, as he has been working in Shantou for sixteen years, which is a city in the east of Guangdong Province. Thanks to the (发展) of the transportation, it is much more convenient for us to travel than before. But my father is too busy to spare his time. As a result, he seldom goes back to his hometown. On this Mid-Autumn night, my mom (放置) out fruit, some (月饼) and many other (甜点) on the table after dinner. My mom pays much (关注) to my father's health, so she doesn't allow him to eat too much sweet food. My father took pictures of the full moon in the (花园). For a long time, he stood here, looking up at the moon in (沉默).
