A: In 2004, I got a new email address that included my nickname, The Tooth Fairy. About three years later, I got an unusual message. The subject line was"Calum' s tooth". Realizing it was from a worried parent, I decided to help.

Q: Are there any special stories you would like to share?

A: I remember the 6,000th email I got. It was from Ashley, whose son Caden had written the note,"I KNOW IT'S YOU MOM." I wrote back, and she later said that when she sent the email, she didn't even know if anyone would read it.

Q: 

A: For kids, losing their baby teeth can be scary, and the tooth fairy can make them feel better. By ending the note with"Happy growing up!", I want to remind children that growing up is a happy and exciting part of life.

Most of us have secret gardens, somewhere we can relax and refresh. For me, since I can remember,that world has been books.

Like many children, books first drew me in through their pictures. The books and cartoons I read as a child helped me learn to love colours, and understand lines and drawings.

In time, words became more important. I often found happiness in the school library during my middle school years. It had beautiful wooden shelves with glass doors and inside were all kinds of surprising books. There were old encyclopaedias(百科全书), collections of old magazines, and novels that people had almost forgotten. I loved exploring those shelves and discovering new stories.

In the school holidays there was the mobile library. A grey van(货车) would arrive outside our village on Thursday mornings and it was full of plastic-covered books, from love stories to exciting adventures. Again, I was lucky. My parents loved reading. They gave us only a little pocket money, called"Saturday pennies", but they always made sure we had many new books to read during the summer.

When I was a young boy, I sometimes chose books just to look smart. I wanted people to think Iread serious books. But then something changed. I found that although I had read many books, I didn't really understand many of them. I had finished them quickly and soon forgot about them.

So, bit by bit, I start again. Over the past few years I have begun to reread. Now I'm a patient reader, though. Coming back with an older eye and more life experience, the books that once seemed difficult and boring have become interesting and meaningful. And I know that reading is not about showing off. It is about finding books that truly speak to you.

China's Spring Festival Gala surprised the world this year when robots played kung fu on stage.

The robots, which came from four Chinese robotics companies, performed all kinds of difficult tasks. They took part in a funny play and danced to music with humans. The most exciting part was a set of martial arts(武术) when the robots did runs, jumps, turns and fights with child performers.

Last year, robots stepped onto the same stage for the first time. They could only perform simple dances. Georg Stieler, a robotics expert, explained that the robots' abilities to control their movements and balance have developed so quickly, because the companies focused on using AI software to build robot"brain".

The humanoid(人形) robot technology has developed rapidly in China.  According to  a latest research, China produced 90 percent of the world's humanoid robots last year. It is said that China's humanoid robot sales will continue to rise and reach more than 28,000 units in 2026.

However, the quick development of AI robots has also raised questions for humanity to consider.AI expert Dr Ramesh Srinivasan said the use of humanoid robots in society would"reshape our futures"as people turn to robots and AI as helpers, friends and even family members.

"What will happen if AI controls robots like these?" Dr Srinivasan asked in an interview."Will AIand robots take away human jobs? What if humanoid robots are used in wars? Do we really want this?"

Dr Ramesh Srinivasan said that humans should think more carefully about how to use these humanoid robots properly."For me, the key is to focus again on people and consider how we can use technology to create a better future. After all, everyone needs to feel safe and well taken care of," he said.

Horses have lived with humans for a long time, so they are loyal(忠诚的) partners. Because of this,they are important in many parts of human life. Across different cultures, horses have held special meanings. They have shaped traditions, appeared in ancient stories, and even influenced the way people think today.

Chinese Tea Culture

As we all know, 

Su Shi, also known as Su Dongpo, was a cultural giant of the Song Dynasty. He

So, why is this simple activity so powerful ?According to experts, the key difference between ColourWalk and a regular walk is the "colour-collecting" ask. By actively choosing where to direct your attention, you can step back from worries and return to the present moment. 

 Seeing green might make you think of grass and forests, while blue reminds you of the sky and sea. These gentle connections can bring a strong sense of healing(治愈).

Scientists have made some of the smallest robots in the world. They are smaller than a grain of salt. But they have a tiny computer inside and can swim in water on their own. 

Building such small robots was hard. To power the robot, scientists chose to use a solar panel(嵌板), which allows a robot to run for months, powered only by light. But it also meant that left little space for other parts. 

The robots have a very small computer that can be programmed and even has a memory. Once the robots are programmed, they can move by themselves. 

Making the robots swim was another challenge —here's how they manage it. The robots create a small electric field. This makes the water move around them, then the water carries the robot forward. 

What can these robots do? For one thing, they can feel how warm or cold the water is. They can also be programmed to swim toward warmer places. 

The scientists also found a creative way for the robots to "talk". The robots share information by moving in special ways. For example, after checking the temperature, a robot might do a little dance. Scientists watch through a microscope and understand the dance to get the information. "It's very similar to how honey bees communicate with each other, " said one scientist. 

The scientists say this is just the beginning. They believe these robots could do many useful things in the future. One day, similar robots might check the health of cells(细胞)in the human body. Although each robot is very small, they can work together to do bigger jobs. 

Every year, many birds travel a long way along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway. Shenzhen Bay is a key stop in the middle where birds rest and eat before continuing their long journey. 

Recently, a local citizen suggested adding more streetlights to Shenzhen Bay Park for safety. However, the park said no. Why? Because brighter lights would do harm to the birds. 

The park has taken some special steps to protect them. First, the lights are dimmed(调暗)at night. They use a warm white light, not a cold one, because it attracts fewer insects. This is good for birds that eat insects. The lights are also designed to shine only on the ground, not up into the sky. After 11 pm, most lights near the most important habitat are turned off to give the birds a quiet place to rest. 

These actions help the birds keep their natural routines and save energy for their long journey. The park's decision did not cause complaints. Instead, many people online praised it. One user wrote, "Shenzhen is friendly to small animals. This is true city warmth. "

Shenzhen's practice shows that a modern city can protect wildlife in a wise way. By dimming the lights, the city tells us clearly: we share this home with nature.
