Our parents and teachers always tell us to "sit up straight" and "stand tall". But why do they say that? Or is there something more to it?
The truth is that how we hold our bodies can be important for our health. Meghan, a doctor, says slouching (低头垂肩地站或坐、走) can lead to sore necks, back problems, and even trouble with breathing. So maybe our parents and teachers are onto something.
They say that our spines (脊椎) are stronger than we think and that differences in how we stand or sit are just part of life.
