Tom and Tony were both good at playing basketball. They played in the same team. 

One day, they wanted to choose(选择) a new leader (队长) of the team. "I think I can be the leader of the team," said Tom, "Because I play basketball best."

"You're talking rubbish," said Tony, "I am the best."

To see who was the best, they decided to have a match. They both showed their wonderful skills. They ran fast, jumped high and shot the ball well. But they didn't have any interactions. 

Their PE teacher watched this match and said, "Basketball is a team sport. Now you are not playing like a team."

Hearing what the teacher said, they remembered that they played for each other and had great fun before, even with no leader. So they decided to stop the match. This time, they shouted, laughed and enjoyed themselves together with the same team goal—to play as a team rather than(而不是) to lead(带领) a team.

Zhang Chi was very good at driving and he won many games. But his last game was not fair so he failed. He felt very sad and gave up his career(职业). Then he worked as a driving teacher in a small car factory and lived a hard life. 

One day, the head of the car factory wanted to build a team to take part in a top game. When Zhang Chi knew the winner could get a large a mount(数量) of money, he decided to take part in it. He asked two of his old friends to join him. There were also two new members in his team. They faced many difficulties but they never gave up. They learnt from skilled drivers and practiced every day. In the end, they won the game. 

The film shows that with skills, courage (勇气) and teamwork, dreams will come true. For a race team, teamwork is the key to success. 

Yang Jiao played basketball well and she joined the school basketball team. Wang Hui, the best player in the team, didn't pass the ball to Yang Jiao all the time. So their team lost many chances (机会) because of that. Yang Jiao was angry with Wang Hui. So she decided to have a talk with her.

The next day, Yang Jiao asked Wang Hui why she didn't like her.

"You replaced (取代) my best friend in the team," Wang Hui said.

"You mean Jiang Yao? Oh, I'm sorry. But it shouldn't stop you from passing me the ball. We are a team. We should play for each other and try to win the game."

Wang Hui felt sorry for what she did. She said, "You're right. Only teamwork can make us win." In the next training, she began to pass the ball to Yang Jiao and help her shoot. Two weeks later, they had another match. They worked well together. They won the match at last.

"Nice game," Yang Jiao said. "Nice teamwork!" Wang Hui said.

Ole is a student from Norway. He studies in Shanghai. This year, he and his team won the dragon boat race in Shanghai again. 

"Why do you want to be a member of the dragon boat race?" I asked him. 

"I love Chinese culture(文化) and I think I'm strong enough, so I want to try it." Ole showed me his strong arms. 

When I asked how they won the race, he said, "There is no ‘I', but only ‘we'. We are one team in the race."

Before the match, Ole and his teammates practiced rowing every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon. At first, they rowed separately(各自地) when rowing. But after more and more hard work, they learned that they should row as a team. And they also did so. After two months' practice, they joined in the race and won.
