Discover your interests

First, take a piece of paper and make two lists. On the left, write down what you love. Add everything that makes you forget the clock—drawing, collecting model cars, walking in the woods.  Note every activity that feels natural-when you quickly solve a maths problem, see a spelling mistake, calm a crying child. These two lists often hide the seed(种子)of your talent, help it grow by practising, reading, and asking others, and it will turn into a real gift.

Take on challenges

Sign up for something you have never done—tying rock-climbing joining a chess club, or reading with a teen book group. You may find you are braver kinder, or quicker than you thought. 

Ao Xue, China's oldest snow leopard (雪豹) born through artificial breeding (工繁殖) ,recently turned nine. Her birth was a big achievement after thirty years of no successful breeding. Before her, four tries to breed, her parents produced seven babies, but none survived. Its challenging to breed snow leopards, as they are very easy to get sick because of the weather.

To deal with these difficulties, the park formed a special learn in 2012. They worked on matching snow leopards for breeding, taking care of mothers, and making sure the babies were born safely. A breeding area was built on the hillside, with big and safe spaces for the leopards.

Modern tools allow the workers to watch the leopards from far away, which made the mothers and babies less stressed Ao Xue and her sister got care from both their mother and the staff. After 87 days, they moved to a quiet place, away from people. Ao Xue grew up strong and healthy, and in May 2017, she was shown to the public in a place that looked like her natural home. New technology also helped with breeding. In 2019, twins Shui Mo and You Hua were born, and they grew better than before. Strict health rules made it more likely for baby leopards to survive.

So far, China has more than 1,200 snow leopards being watched over, which is a big win for saving them. And he park has saved over 2.200 wild animals from 62different kinds, and almost one-third of them have been put back into the wild, do continue these achievements, the park has planned-stronger rescue, protection, and public education in the future.

Mary Anning was born in Lyme Regis, a seaside town in the UK, in 1799.Her parents had ten kids, but only Mary and her brother Joseph grew up.

Mary's father didn't make much money in his job as a cupboard maker, so he decided to make their life better by looking for fossils at the beach and selling them to tourists. Young Mary and Joseph would join him, and they developed a dep love of fossil-hunting.

After their father died in 1810, Mary and Josph carried on hunting fossils to support the family. When Mary was 12, they found a strange 5.2-metre-long skeleton(骨骼).At first, scientists thought if was a fish-like living thing from far-away places Later, they realized it was an ancient animal.

Mary died in 1847.In her life, although she was well-known for her discoveries. She wasn't taken seriously as a scientist because she was a woman and came from a poor family. Some men-scientists even said her discoveries were theirs. But now Mary is widely considered as an early explorer in the study of fossils and he greats fossil hunter ever!

Flag football is a team sport that comes from American football, but it is much safer. Instead of knocking an competitor to the ground, a defender (防守队员) must pull a small flag from the ball carrier's waist(腰). When the flag is taken often play stops Since there is no hard hitting, students of all ages can enjoy the game without expensive tools.

I never expected to go to Harvard (哈佛大学). But life is full of surprises - in two months, I will start studying there! So far, my path to Harvard  (be) very unusual, all because I have ADHD（多动症）.

As a child, I loved learning. But in school, I felt like a （fail）. Sitting still for 15 minutes was nearly  (possible) for me. It was hard for me to focus and I would forget  I had just learned. My teachers thought that I didn't take school seriously. I often felt different and misunderstood.

The day I was diagnosed (确诊) with ADHD, I was both at ease and sad at same time. When I got into high school, I started looking for ways  (help) myself study. Later, in college, I joined a music club. One day during practice, I noticed something strange - the background noise actually helped me focus better. It was very different the usual "stay quiet while studying" advice. , I decided to try listening to TV shows or the radio while doing homework. To my surprise, it worked! I finished my work  (fast) and remembered things more easily.

Over time, I began to see my ADHD differently. It isn't a (weak). It's a different way of thinking. It helps me do several things at once. Once I saw it as a problem, but now I see it as a gift.

Thirdly, warm up and stretch before any exercise. Never start doing sports without warming up first.  Try light activities like jogging, jumping jacks, or high knees for about 10 minutes. Then, do some stretches. Warmed muscles stretch better and are less likely to get injured.

Last but not least, follow the rules.  For example, in football, pushing or tripping others is not allowed. Following rules helps everyone enjoy the game safely and fairly.

Tala Beach in Qinghai was once a desert with strong winds and little rain. In fact, about 98.5% of the area was covered by sand. Today, it is becoming greener while also producing clean electricity. How did this happen? The secret lies under rows of solar panels (板):

A local herder (牧民), Mr. Li, remembers the difficult past: "Our sheep couldn't find enough grass, so we had to travel far to look for grass." Sandstorms were common, turning the sky dark and making life challenging.

A turning point came in 2011, when large solar farms were built. The area has strong sunlight, which is perfect for producing clean energy. Over the past ten years, the place has grown into one of the largest solar parks in the world. Surprisingly, grass began to grow under the panels. This happened because the panels provide shade, slow down the wind, and help keep water in the soil - creating a better environment for plants.

But the grass grew too tall and blocked sunlight from the panels. Cutting it regularly cost time and money. Then, in 2020, a clever idea was introduced. Why not let sheep eat the grass? Now, over 4,000 "solar sheep" live under the panels. They keep the grass short, and their waste enriches the soil as natural fertilizer (肥料). This improves the land, saves maintenance (维护) costs, and has created over 3,000 jobs for local people since last year.

Thanks to the green energy project, Tala Beach is no longer a desert. It has become an example of how technology and nature can work hand in hand to improve the environment and people's lives.
