Hermit crabs(寄居蟹) are small animals that live in the ocean or on the beach. The crab has its own hard shell (外壳) but it only covers part of its body. The  cannot be protected without a shell. So the crab will find an empty shell and climb inside to stay safe.

As a hermit crab grows, a bigger shell is needed. Hermit crabs may stay together to exchange shells or shells. Hermit crabs eat just about  they can find, such as plants, dead fish or even food left on the beach. In this way, they help beaches stay clean.

However, some hermit crabs can't find real shells. Sometimes plastic bottles and caps are seen as real shells . Once inside, many cannot get out and slowly die. If these , like beach clean-ups, recycling, and using less plastic, are taken, they will make a big difference.

Last summer, I took part in a speech competition. When it was my turn to give a speech, I was very nervous. "What if I can't remember my words and  to other competitors?" My heart  quickly. I forced myself to be calm down. To relax, I began to imagine myself standing in a field, with the listeners like grass waving in the wind. Surprisingly, it worked.Finally, I  many competitors, and even more unbelievably, I first prize! My classmates all cheered for me. I felt so proud and happy that day.

Our school organized a field trip last week. of the students were excited to go. teachers and students prepared well for it. of us forgot to bring our snacks and water bottles. We went to the nature park. the weather nor the scenery(风景)could be more perfect. After visiting the park, we were free to do something we liked. Students could go fishing or play games. At the end of the day, everyone was joyful. All of us agreed that it was a truly memorable experience, and we hoped to have another trip like this soon.

Last weekend, I went on a trip with my family.We got up early in the morning and drove for hours before   at our first stop——a beautiful lake. We spent the day swimming and relaxing.The next day, we continued our journey anda small town, walking around and exploring some local shops. In the evening, we to our hotel for delicious dinner together. It was a short but unforgettable trip!

Nana looked out of the window. It was starting to snow. She loved making snowmen, and tomorrow she could 1 her new gloves to make the first snowman of this winter with her dad.

This is the last week of this term. In the classroom, students were  the final math exam.However, Jack, the best math student in the class, was reading a novel. He didn't  the exam because he had never needed to study hard at math to achieve good grades.

As usual, Jack was the first to  his paper. After a week, he was called to go to the teacher's office. To his surprise, he failed the math exam.

The head teacher  with him and said,"Look at the eagle(鹰). It can't jump directly into the air like other birds. It can only fly after a run-up. However, once it flies, it can fly higher than other birds.Hard work is like that run-up. Although you have talent, you'll never achieve good grades if you don't  your work," the head teacher explained. From then on, Jack never failed an exam again.
