The party starts at 7:00 p.m. My friends take some nice things as gifts. Tony gives me a nice birthday card. He writes many things that we experienced together. Alice and Mike buy me a pair of shoes and a basketball because they know I like playing basketball. My uncle and aunt buy me a new bike as a gift. The last gift is my parents' gift. It's a special ticket. It's a ticket to my grandparents' home. Then my parents say my grandparents miss me very much. They plan to let me go to Beijing and stay there for a week. I'm not happy at first because it isn't what I want. But when I remember my grandparents' faces and what we did together in the past, I know "love" is more important than any other thing and I change my mind finally. I will pack up my things and be on my way to the home full of love tomorrow.

Two students were asked to meet the teacher through a forest.There were

two way. One was short and easy, and the other was full of fallen trees.        

The first student chose the easy path. He thought he is so clever that             

he could walk through without any trouble. He certain finished first and       

enjoyed himself. The second student decided to spend time jump over        

the fallen trees in his way. After arrived at the finishing line, he felt tired.

Every Saturday morning, there a fight in of houses across America. Mum or dad probably says kindly at first, "Could you please your room, dear?" The kid may waste time in doing nothing or just say "No". As the morning passes, the parents get angry. "How many times do I have to tell you to clean this bedroom? Get it done right now!" The fight becomes worse. Sometimes parents just give up and do the cleaning by.

What can parents do to change the situation?

*Parents should set example. Keeping your own things in order will help kids to develop good habits.

*Tell kids clearly what a clean room is like. Before kids meet your expectation (期望), they must what you want them to do.

*Each thing should be in its place. Try to things into certain boxes. It will be helpful for kids to tidy their rooms. What's more, work at labeling (贴标签) each thing and deciding where it should be.

But a home is a house full of people with their favourite rooms. For example, my favourite room is my bedroom. It has all of my things in it. My mum likes reading in the comfortable armchair in the living room. Jasper, the cat, lies under her feet. My sister Sally spends a lot of time in the garden! It's her favorite place. And my dad can cook really well so he's usually in the kitchen.

When I am away from home, I sometimes feel homesick. I miss all my things, and everyday family activities. Our house is noisy in the morning before work or school. Then, when I get back in the evening, Jasper jumps on me with his dirty feet and there is a fantastic smell of my dad's cooking.

So home is the people and animals living in a house, and the things in the room that are special to us. It's the activities we do, our feelings and the relaxing environment. But home is also the community. I often help neighbors and they look after Jasper when we are away. And sometimes there's a big party with all the neighbors. That's what is home for me.
