The students from our school  (volunteer) in an old people's home last week. This activity is a great  (例子) of teamwork. 

The teacher d the students into small groups. Group One cleaned  the rooms. Group Two t out rubbish. Group Three chatted with the elders to make  (they) happy. Some members of this group read newspapers for the old people. Group Four cooked t meals for the old people. When a group finished(完成) its job, the group members went  help the other groups. 

In this activity, the students helped each other and worked t. They  (show) strong teamwork.

It was Friday. It was sunny and bright. Players from the two teams played very hard and well. At the end of the first half(上半场) of the match, Class Three won 1 score.

 Fifteen minutes later, the match began again. We cheered our team on loudly.  "Pass the ball! Run! Run!" we kept shouting(叫喊). Deng Rong kicked the ball to Wang Lei.  He did it! All of my classmates were excited. In the end, we won the match 2 to 1.

 From the match, we know that one player doesn't make a team.

②Chinese swimmer Pan Zhanle won two gold medals at this Olympic Games. But he said, "I'm not fighting alone. There's a strong Chinese team behind me."

③Cheng Wentao, as a substitute (替补) of Chinese synchronized swimming team(中国花样游泳队), didn't fight with her teammates but she was busy helping them with many things, such as looking after their clothes and carrying hot water bags. It was teamwork that made the team won the first gold medal for China. 

④When Fan Zhendong, one of Chinese ping-pong players, won the championship (冠军), he said, "It's not my own honor. It's for everyone in our team." 

⑤Every medal won by Chinese players shows the team's hard work and the importance of teamwork.  

Last Friday, our teacher Miss Wang took us to climb the mountain near our school. The weather was fine and the sky was blue and clear. 

At the beginning, everyone was very excited. But as we climbed higher(更高地), the mountain path(小路) became steeper (更陡峭的). It was difficult to move on and some of my classmates wanted to give up.

Miss Wang cheered us up and told us to work together if we wanted to get to the top of the mountain. Zhang Ming helped Zhao Li carry the bag. Kangkang held Lingling. Li Xiang moved up for some distance(距离) and took Xiao Ya's arm. We helped each other along the way and tried to climb up.

Suddenly, Tony slipped and hurt his leg. Miss Wang quickly came to him. She cleaned his wound (伤口) and cheered him up. With her words, Tony decided to keep going.

When we reached the top of the mountain, we were so happy.

Saving Water at School

Hi, everyone! Do you know that water is ? People in some places even don't have enough water. So as a student, what can we do help save water at school?

Use a water bottle. We can one bottle to get water for many times. And if we don't drink up (喝光) the water, it can still be in the bottle, we can drink it next time. That way, we will not water.

Don't play water games. Try to use as little water  possible.

Wash hands quickly. When  hands, we should not wash for too long. And when we put hand sanitizer(洗手液) on our hands, we should turn  the taps.

Qinghai Lake covers(覆盖) more than 4,600 square kilometers. It is a salt lake in Qinghai, China. It's very blue and beautiful. Every year, plenty of people from all over the world come here for a visit.

We get to Qinghai Lake on a summer morning. It's beautiful and we feel like we are in a big picture. The grassland looks like(看起来像) a large green carpet (毯子) covering the ground. On the grass, there are lots of yellow rapeseed flowers(油菜花). They are blooming like yellow ocean. At the end of the yellow ocean, there is Qinghai Lake.

We walk around Qinghai Lake and see green grass, brown mountains and a wide road. The blue lake, clean water and fresh air all make us lose ourselves in it. We stay there, walking and taking photos, and don't want to leave.

This travel to Qinghai Lake is really wonderful. I would like to go there again.
