Long ago, the Yellow River often flooded (洪水泛滥) in China. The water(pour) into villages and made many people homeless.

Chelsea Flower Show is a great thing for garden lovers. This year, it (/^'hæpənd/) from May 20 to 24. The garden lovers visit to see amazing flowers (慢) and get new ideas. It's not just a hobby-it's an important （习惯)of life!

As a marathon (马拉松) runner, Ma Shuai doesn't just run to win. He runs to help families find their missing (失踪的) children and want them to be 1 . 

It all started years ago when Ma met a sad mother. Her daughter went missing. It was a storm in her life. The girl was the same age as 2 a storm in her life. The girl was the same age as Ma Feeling unhappy in his heart, Ma decided to do something to help.

Later, something 6 came up. At a race in Guangzhou this year, a man saw a poster on a runner's T-shirt and shouted in surprise, "That's 7 ！"He was away from his parents when he was little. After 26 years, he8 found his family! Ma was excited. 

Some people say Ma just wants to be famous,9 Ma doesn't care He just keeps running. 

"If our 10 can help bring missing children home," he says. "we'll never stop running. "

Many students take city buses to school every day. These buses help us get to class on time, just like school buses do. Here are some important rules to follow when riding the bus. 

Be Friendly.

It's important to be polite to the bus driver. After all, they work hard to get you to school safely!  A smile can also help you make new friends on the bus. 

Be Safe.

The bus is not a playground.  Don't walk around or make a lot of noise. This could make the driver not focused. If you have a phone, keep it quiet and wear your headphones. Don't keep talking on the phone. If you need help, tell the driver. 

No one likes a dirty bus! Don't eat or drink on the bus, as spills (溢出) can take place.  This can make a mess and the driver can't focus. Remember to always pick up after yourself when you get off the bus.

While reading magazine, I learned about Su Hanchen. He was a painter and was good at drawing children. One of his best-known paintings is Children at Play in an Autumn Garden《秋庭戏婴图》The boy and the girl in the painting were in high spirits in their new game: spinning dates (陀螺游戏). A few hundred years passed, but I could still hear them laughing. 

Looking at the two kids, I remembered my own childhood(童年). That was about thirty years ago. Computers and smartphones didn't come into people's lives. We just had a lot of fun playing outdoors. Girls loved to skip rubber bands (跳橡皮筋). We boys were excited about some toy cars. We raced against each other to see whose car ran the most quickly. Often, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we wouldn't stop!
