TCM food and drinks are popular among young people, For one thing, young people are  because of their busy work. They always call themselves  "crispy skin youths"(脆皮青年). That's why they want to  their poor diets, For another, it's hard for  to give up their love for junk food. They think  will be boring without tasty food. Now different kinds of TCM food and drinks were made to meet the needs for different tastes by the scientists and doctors,  more and more young people choose TCM food and drinks. 

In the world of artificial intelligence (AI), an unexpected success story is in the news. DeepSeek, a Chinese Al company that started just last year, has done something amazing. Although it had fewer tools and equipment than big companies, it has created an Al system that works as well as those made by the world's largest tech companies, and sometimes even better. 

Its latest AI model, shown to the public in December 2024, shows a new way of thinking about technology.   ▲   While big tech companies depend on powerful computers, DeepSeek found a special path forward. It's like solving a picture puzzle (拼图): Instead of trying every piece one by one, it discovered clever methods to match the right pieces quickly. 

What it has achieved is amazing. DeepSeek used only 2, 048 computer chips (芯片) to build its system, while other companies usually need more than 16, 000. Its AI can deal with information very fast, It is able to manage 60 pieces of information in just one second, This triumph comes from smart design, not just good programming. 

What makes its achievement special is that it faced many challenges. While large companies can easily buy the newest technology, DeepSeek only had a small number of computer parts, However, it turned this problem into a chance to create better methods and better ways of working. 

The success of DeepSeek teaches us something important: Having the biggest and most expensive tools isn't always necessary to achieve great things. Its story proves that creative thinking and smart solutions(方法)can help overcome difficult challenges in technology. 

Zhang Yugun is head of Heihumiao Primary School in Henan Province. After graduation in 2001, Zhang chose to work in the1 countryside. Over the past 23 years, he has2 many teachers come and go because of the poor conditions in the village. However, he has stayed on and made every effort to help the children3 their problems.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is an ancient system of healthcare from China. It has been practiced for t of years. TCM believes good health comes from a balanced flow of energy, called "Qi"(pronounced"chee"), inside the body. It also focuses on the balance b yin and yang, two opposite but connected forces.

TCM doctors look at the whole person, not just the sickness. They use four main ways to understand a patient's problem: l (especially at the tongue), listening, asking questions, and touching (especially feeling the pulse 脉搏). Based on this, TCM uses different treatments to bring back balance.

Nowadays, environmental protection has become a big focus around the world. As technology develops fast, more new tech ideas are helping the environment and bringing new hope for our planet. 

Solar energy, a clean power source, is being used a lot. In many cities, solar streetlights shine on the streets. These lights have solar panels on top. During the day, the panels catch sunlight and turn it into electricity to store. At night, the stored power lights up the way.  Compared to old - style streetlights, solar ones save a lot of electricity and make less carbon pollution, which is great for the environment.

Electric cars are also changing how people travel and helping the environment. Different from gas - powered cars, electric cars run on electricity and give out almost no exhaust (废气). Now, many car companies are spending more on making electric cars. There are more kinds of electric cars on the market, and they can go farther on one charge.

Technology also helps a lot in waste handling. Some high - tech waste plants use smart ways to sort waste well. Things like paper, plastic, and metal that can be recycled are made into new products. It saves materials and cuts down the waste in landfills.

Moreover, smart sensors watch air and water quality all the time. This helps the environment department find pollution problems quickly and do something about them.

Content:

Lecture by an Expert: You will learn about the very difficult training that astronauts go through. They need to learn a lot of knowledge about space physics, astronomy, and how to operate spacecraft. Physical training is also very important. They do long - distance running, heavy weightlifting, and special training to get used to the weightless environment in space.

Simulated Training Experience: You'll have the chance to try a training task just like what astronauts do. For example, you can try to keep your balance on a special platform that is made to feel like being in space. This will test your concentration and how well you can control your body.

II. Campus Cultural Exchange

From April 20th, during every break time, we will launch a campus cultural exchange activity.

Climate change, disease, and hunger are big problems in the world. Climate activists (活动家) need to use both fear and hope to get people to care and take action. Fear can make people feel like they need to do something right away, but hope can make them feel like they can actually make a difference. Activists must carefully find a balance between negative and positive advocacy (倡导). 

If activists only use fear, it can backfire. People might feel so scared that they just give up instead of trying to help. Psychologists have found different feelings people have when they see scary things about the climate. These include eco-depression (feeling very sad) and eco-anxiety (feeling very worried). Feeling sad can make a person give up and not do anything about the climate, and feeling worried can make a person want to avoid the problem. Both of these feelings can stop people from taking action. 

Activists often use really shocking pictures to make people take action. These pictures might show sad polar bears, forests that have been cut down, or big fires. But instead of making people want to help, these pictures sometimes make people feel like the problems are far away and not important. This can make them stop caring about the environment. It's kind of like how eco-anxiety works—people feel so worried that they just avoid thinking about it. 

Without hope, fear isn't an effective motivator (激励因素). People need to believe their actions will make a real difference. Positive activism (行动主义) steps in where negative activism ends. It uses hope and excitement to motivate action, focusing on the positive results of taking action, not just the bad results of not acting. 

A good example is the Irish rock band U2. They are famous for their great music and concerts. In their latest concert "Achtung Baby", they showed a virtual (虚拟的) world of Earth's wildlife. At first, they showed animals that were in danger in just one color to show how bad it was when their homes were destroyed. As the concert reached its most exciting part, the colors got brighter and more beautiful, like a big celebration of life. The performance changed from negative to positive, inspiring people to protect Earth's beauty together. 

Fear is a powerful emotion. We need fear. But we cannot remain in fear without moving forward. While fear will not disappear, we must focus our thoughts on hope. With hope as our guide, a beautiful goal can encourage us to take every step of progress forward.

On February 16, 2025, Futian District in Shenzhen began to use 70 AI - powered civil servants (公务员). These workers are made with DeepSeek's R1 model. They can deal with 240 different things in 11 areas, such as documents, public services, and emergency management.

The AI system works very well. It can find and fix mistakes in work with 95% accuracy (准确率). People can only do this with 70% accuracy. And it makes the time for checking much shorter, 90% shorter. This means human workers can spend more time on creative jobs. The AI can also send requests to the right place. The accuracy rate went from 70% to 95%. This helps solve urgent (紧急的) problems, like getting healthcare, much faster. During emergencies, like typhoons, the AI can guess where the disaster will go with 98% accuracy. It can also make rescue plans 80 times faster than people. This can save lives in dangerous times.

The cost of using these AI workers is very low. Each one only uses $0.4 of electricity every month. In five years, the cost is less than three months of a person's pay. It means the government can put more money into education and building things like roads and bridges. To make sure everything is safe, Futian made China's first rules for government AI helpers. These rules say that people must watch over important decisions made by AI.

This new use of AI has made people much happier with the government. Public satisfaction has gone up from 78% to 96%. It shows that technology can make the government more open and easier to believe in.

As an official said, "AI isn't replacing people. It's helping us solve problems better." The story of Futian makes us know that we can use tools to build a smarter and better world.

The Spring Festival Gala is a very popular show during Chinese New Year. In recent years, the "Yang Bot" show made many people interested. It became one of the most talked-about programs. It was made by Unitree Robotics. This company is really good at making robots. The person behind this great thing is Wang Xingxing. He is the founder of Unitree Robotics, and his story can teach us a lot.

Wang Xingxing liked robots very much when he was a kid. This strong interest made him study things about robots hard. When he went to college, he chose mechanical engineering. He had a clear dream: to make something new in the robotics industry. In college, he didn't just learn from textbooks. He often went to the library to find new books and research about robots. When he had problems in study or experiments, he was brave and faced them. He knew that only by facing problems could he get better.

After graduating, Wang Xingxing started his own company, Unitree Robotics. At first, it was very hard. There was not enough money, and it was difficult to find good team members. But he didn't give up. He used his own money to rent a small workshop and looked for people who thought the same way.

He believed in his idea for Unitree Robotics. He wanted to make robots that could do hard jobs and talk to people well. To do this, he needed a team with different skills. So he talked to many people, looking for those who loved robotics and could design.

When making the company's products, there were lots of technical problems. For example, making robots balance and move easily was very hard. Wang Xingxing and his team worked long hours to fix and make the programs better. Sometimes they worked all night because they wanted to be successful.

After some time, Unitree Robotics became famous. Their products were used in many places, like entertainment, rescue, and delivery. This was a big step for Wang Xingxing and his team. But he knew it was just the start.

Now, Unitree Robotics is becoming a well-known brand around the world because of Wang Xingxing's strong will and good leadership.

Lila looked out of the window, watching the rain pour down. Her eyes fell on a small sparrow (麻雀) huddled (蜷缩) on a bare tree branch. The poor bird looked1 and weak. Its feathers soaked from the rain.
