The Dragon Boat Festival is one of the most important traditional festivals in China. On that day, people usually 1 zongzi and have dragon boat races.

This year, I go to my 2 home with my parents. I still remember the 3 time. Grandma teaches us 4 to make zongzi. At first, we make the leaves into cones(圆锥体), and add the glutinous rice(糯米)  and meat into them.5 , we tie them. Meanwhile, my grandpa tells us the 6 of the festival.

In fact, a study published in 2024 shows that even half an hour of birdwatching could make us happier, healthier and help us get close to nature. Even hearing birds indoors through an open window can change our bad feelings. The study also shows that it is better to watch birds than to take a walk.

So why is birdwatching so good for us? Biophilia(亲生物性) could be a big part of it. It means that humans have a good relationship with nature— some would think that we should see ourselves as part of nature—so being in nature makes us feel well. But biodiversity(生物多样性) is important too. The study shows that biodiversity is a natural medicine for humans that can help us relax and do more activities.

Another reason is that after being careful to do birdwatching, we can get happiness and know a lot about birds. The study also shows that noticing wildlife in nature can make us get closer to nature and learn more about it. So birdwatching can make us feel happy.

So, take your binoculars(双筒望远镜) and walk into nature for birdwatching to help you relax and be happy. Enjoy every moment and have fun.

My friend named Paul gets an expensive car from his brother as a Christmas present. On Christmas Eve when Paul comes out of his office, a lovely boy is walking around the shining car. "Is this your car, sir?" he asks.

Paul answers, "Yes, my brother gives it to me for Christmas." The boy is surprised. "You mean your brother gives it to you and it does cost you nothing? Sir, I wish..." He stops. Of course Paul knows what the boy wants, but what the boy says surprises him greatly. "I wish," the boy goes on, "that I could be a brother like that." Paul looks at the boy in surprise, and then he says, "Would you like to take a ride in my car?""Oh yes, I'd love to," the boy answers.

After a short ride, the boy turns and with his eyes shining, says, "Sir, would you mind stopping in front of my house?"

Paul smiles a little. He thinks he knows what the boy wants. He wants to show his neighbours that he can ride home in a big car. But Paul is wrong again. "Will you stop where those two stairs are?" the boy asks.

He goes up to the stairs. Then in a short while Paul hears him coming back, but he is not coming fast. He is carrying his little crippled brother. He sits on the stair and points to the car. "There he is, Buddy, just like I tell you upstairs. His brother gives it to him for Christmas and it doesn't cost him a dollar. And some day I'm going to give you one just like it... the n you can see for yourself all the nice things in the Christmas windows that I try to tell you about."

Paul gets out and lifts Buddy to the front seat of his car. The shining-eyed elder brother climbs in behind him and the three begin an unforgettable holiday ride.

Wow! So many people are here on the playground. What is happening? Our school is having a traditional festival—— the Student Festival. Our school has this festival every year. It usually (fall) in April.
