Prince Mathew is a ten-year-old boy who loves to invent(发明) things. He made a robot that can help people do farm work from far away.

When Prince was little, he liked different things from what other kids like. He didn't have many toys at home and didn't often play computer games. But he really enjoyed playing with building blocks. He loved making all kinds of things with them.

One day, Prince's mom said they didn't have enough room in their home for all the plants she wanted to grow. This made Prince think about how to solve the problem. Then he had an idea: "What if we could grow plants in a place away from our home?"

Prince spent about two to three months building his robot. Before he started drawing plans, he looked up a lot of information online. To make the robot work well, he went to the store to buy all the parts he needed. The robot could move around by itself. The last thing Prince did was to write computer programs to make the robot useful, not just a toy.

He named his robot GrRobot. It has a small video camera(视频摄像机 ) and a basket for growing plants. It can check if the ground is dry or wet and decide when to turn on the water. This will help farmers with their work, even with some hard jobs.

Besides this robot, Prince has also made a computer game and some phone apps. When people ask him how he can make all these things, he says, "I feel really happy when I see my inventions help people live better. I will keep trying to solve problems for more people. Maybe with my help, the world can become a better place." 

Do you live with a good neighbor? What kind of neighbor is good? The answers are different from person to person. Here are my answers.

First, it is very important to respect each other. If our neighbors try to know more about our life, how will we feel? He or she may also talk with others about our life. Do you want to live with him or her any more? The answer is "No". We will feel very annoyed to have this kind of neighbor and move away quickly.

Next, a good neighbor is always ready to give us a hand when we need him or her. For example, if we are not at home, our good neighbors will watch our house for us.

Finally, a good neighbor should love the environment. He or she never puts rubbish here and there, because a good environment can make us comfortable and happy.

I think we all should learn to be good neighbors, and I also hope everyone will have good neighbors and live a happy life.

You may not realize it, but some tiny animals are really amazing. Ants are one of the best examples.

Ants are known for their hard work and strong connection with each other. They live in large groups called colonies(蚁巢), where they work together like humans. Each ant has its own job. Some of them store food for the colony, while others take care of the young. Though ants are small, they can carry things much heavier than themselves.

Ants make a difference to our planet. Believe it or not, the earth would be a very different place without ants. For one thing, ants help to take pollen from one flower to another as they move. For another, they break down the leaves and flowers, which helps to enrich the earth. What's more, they dig tunnels (坑道) to build houses underground. Their actions help plants grow.

Ants show us that even the tiniest living thing can play a part in keeping our world healthy and balanced. For this reason, we should be thankful for their hard work. It is also our duty to protect them.

Jaime Escalante was a teacher from Bolivia．In 1963, he started to1 in Los Angeles, USA. He was thirty-three years old and spoke almost no 2 ．

Chores are jobs we do at home. We wash the dishes every day. We do some chores less often, like watering plants. Each family has different kinds of chores to do. Children need to share chores because they are family members.

Why do children do chores?

It's good for children to do chores. First, doing chores helps them learn some basic (基本的) life skills. Second, it makes them close to their family. It also makes them understand the importance of teamwork (协作). After all, children can't do all the chores alone. Family usually do chores together.

What kind of chores can children do?

Both children and adults (成人) do chores. Adults usually do some washing and cook meals. Children can do some easy chores such as making the beds, feeding pets, setting the table and washing the dishes.

Children can have fun doing chores.

There are some ways to make chores fun. Children can try these ideas. Do chores with their family so that they can spend time together.

Sing or play music while they are doing chores. Choose to do something interesting to make them relax after they finish a chore.

Last summer, I went to a summer camp with my classmates. A group of us decided to. As we walked, we heard birds making a noise in the trees. After hiking for hours, we, so we stopped to have a rest. In my opinion, schools should prepare us students for our future life. Life skills such as budget planning and saving money can stop us from overspending (过度消费). It is also a good idea to learn cooking. This skill is the most helpful to you when you live by yourself.

On the other hand, some people think that there is no time for extra subjects at school and students should learn life skills only at home. As for me, I think we are learning many life skills while taking a traditional class. For example, we can learn teamwork by playing group games in a PE class, and doing our homework teaches us skills in time planning.

So I think all schools should teach life skills. It doesn't need too much extra work, but it can help students well prepare for their college life and work after college.

We didn't have a lot of money then, but we grew our own food and made our own clothes. I had great fun helping with the farm work like picking strawberries and feeding the chickens. Mom was good at sewing (缝补), and grandma could knit (织) beautiful sweaters in all styles. I can still remember how warm and lovely the clothes were when I was wearing them.

Every day after school, I would play outside and wait for my dad to come home from work. He worked on cars all day and always came home tired with oil (油渍) on his hands and clothes. But when he got home, he would clean up and sit in his old chair. And my favorite part came: climbing onto Dad's back and watching TV together. Now I live in a big city. But I still remember those happy times with my family. I wish I could go back and sit with my family again.

You'd better travel with friends, and you should always keep together with your friends.

When there are a lot of people around you, you should carry your bag in front of you. Don't put it on your back.

Wear a life jacket (救生衣) when you take a boat or ship. If you fall into the water, it can keep you safe.

Don't go swimming alone.

Don't sleep on a bus or train. Never put your head out of the window. It's not safe.

Take a map, a phone, and some clothes with you.

Have safe food and drinks.

Everyone should be careful when traveling. Enjoy your trip!

Beijing Guozijian was an imperial college (皇家学院). It has a history of over 700 years. It's enjoyable to visit the old buildings there. There are also a large number of books. And Guozijian is famous for its old trees. Some of them are about 700 years old.
