Liam sees Mummy and Daddy come back home. Mummy and Daddy are very sad. "What's wrong?" asks Liam. Mummy's voice is very quiet. "Grandpa Nathi is old and sick. The doctors can't make him better." Her eyes are filled with tears. "We won't see Grandpa again."

On Friday, Daddy, Liam and Luke are wearing their best clothes to go to the church (教堂) for Grandpa Nathi's funeral (葬礼). Everyone is coming to remember him. They sing Grandpa's favourite songs. Everybody dances too.

Liam and Luke are eating dinner when Daddy walks in with a big, big cardboard (硬纸板) tree. "This is a memory tree." says Daddy. He sticks (粘贴) it on the wall. Mummy has a box of photos. "Take your favourite photos of Grandpa Nathi and stick them on the tree." Together they all stick photos of Grandpa Nathi onto the tree.

Liam says, "This is my new favourite tree!" Daddy smiles, "Now anytime we want to remember Grandpa Nathi, we can come to our memory tree. Grandpa Nathi will always be in our hearts."

Different families have different weekend habits. Let's look at three families.

The Smith family: They like going hiking on weekends. Every Saturday morning, they put on their sports shoes and go to the mountains. They take a picnic lunch and enjoy the fresh air. They say hiking makes them healthy.

The Jones family: They often stay at home. They like cooking together. Mr. Jones makes pizza, and Mrs. Jones makes salad. Their children help set the table. After lunch, they watch a movie or play board games.

The Miller family: They love visiting museums. Every Sunday, they go to a different museum. They learn about history, art and science. Their children say they can learn a lot from museums.

something about my school.

Our school has two buildings and a playground. There are 1,400 students in my school. All the students are in Building 1. The building has four floors. There are thirty-two classrooms in it. And there are twelve teachers' offices. My classroom is on the fourth floor. In our school we have a big library. It's behind our teaching building. There are many books in it. We can read them and learn a lot from them. The science labs are next to the library. Behind the library and the science labs, there is a dining hall. After school, we have our meals there. It's in front of our playground. After school, we can play table tennis, football and basketball in the playground. Some of us love running. We can also run there.

I love my school very much.

This is our new school. It's very big, 1 it's also very beautiful. There are lots of 2  in it! Let me show you around our school.

Look! This building is the teaching building. It has four floors. All the 3 are in it. My classroom is on the second floor. This is Building 2. On the first floor, we have a 4 with many books, two computer labs and three art rooms. On the second floor, there are five 5 . They are the reading club, the music club, the art club, the science club and the history club. I'm good at dancing. So I want to 6 the music club. This is our 7 . It's very big and beautiful. We usually do morning exercises here. And after school, we run or 8 basketball in it. It's my favourite 9 in school. That's our dining hall. It's 10 , but the food is good. I always have lunch there.
