On May 10,2025,a 17-year-old student named Jiang Zhaopeng was on his way to take an imp ortant exam.

Suddenly, one of his classmates fell down. The classmate had a heart problem and stopped breathing. Jiang didn't think twice. He quickly used the CPR skills he learned at school to help his classmate. The driver, Wang Tao, also helped. They drove to the hospital in just 7 minutes. On the w ay, they even ran through six red lights.

China is a country in East Asia. It is large in more than one way. More than 1.4 billion people live here.And China is the third largest country by total area in the world.

This large country has many different kinds of land. It has some very low areas of land.It is Ayding Lake (艾丁湖) in the Turpan Depression (吐鲁番盆地). Other parts of China have mountains. For example, part of the Himalaya mountain is in the west part of the country.

The snow in the mountains is the start of many rivers. In fact, the snow makes two of China's most important rivers. They are the Yellow River and the Yangtze River.It is very special to the Chinese people, as it is the birthplace of Chinese civilization. The Yangtze River is the longest river in Asia and the third longest river in the world.

There are thousands of rivers in China. What's more, rain forests are in some areas of the country. So visitors can enjoy different landscapes in this country!

The rise of AI doctors is really happening now. In different parts of China, AI doctors are bringing big changes to the medical field.

In February 2025, Beijing Children's Hospital brought in the country's first AI kid doctor. An8-year-old boy had a sudden and serious illness. Thirteen top experts were trying hard to find the best treatment. At the same time, the AI doctor also made a plan and it was like the human doc tors' thoughts.

In Shandong, a couple felt very worried when their child had a high fever. They decided to try DeepSeek before going to the hospital. After putting in the description of the illness, the AI said it was probably a bacterial infection (细菌感染) and suggested some medicine. When they went to the hospital, the doctor gave exactly the same medicine.

Even in some villages of Jilin, AI doctors help patients tell about their illnesses and make it easier for disabled people to move around in the hospital.

All these examples show us two important things AI doctors can do. They can help top doctors make better choices and they can also make healthcare easier for everyone in the country. Ho wever, AIdoctors need to make more improvements. As one doctor said,"AI doctors can give us ideas, but we still need the care given by humans."

The meaning of the word"volunteer" may be a little different in different countries, but it usually means someone who offers his or her services. There are many different ways people can volunteer, such as taking care of sick people, helping kids without families, and picking up rubbish from beaches and parks. Volunteers may work in their own countries or other countries. They oft en strongly wish to help people poorer than themselves and never expect any pay.

At the root of volunteering is the idea that one person can offer services to help other people.My friend Tracy recently came back from India with a new understanding of being a volunteer.She worked for two and a half weeks in one of Mother Teresa's homes (特蕾莎修女之家) in Calcutta. The following is her story.

"I first heard about Mother Teresa in high school. We watched a video about her work in India and across the world. Her spirit of helping others and endless love for everyone moved me so much that I hoped to do the same work after graduation. So I flew to Calcutta with two friends fora few weeks."

"I worked in a home for sick people. I washed clothes and sheets (床单), handed out lunch,and fed those too weak to feed themselves to cheer them up. I found sharing time with them me ant more than simply giving help. To be honest, I offered little real help. I then realized I came there not to give help, but to learn and experience a new culture. This experience deepened my un derstanding of life and the world."

Have you ever noticed that some kids love going to big parties or hanging out with a group of friends, while others prefer to stay at home, read a book, or just enjoy their peaceful time? Well, there's a reason for that! It has to do with your personality.

Psychologists (心理学家) say there are two main kinds of people, E-people and I-people.Let me tell you what they're like.

E-people love being around other people. They feel energized when they' re with friends, going to parties, or doing fun group activities. For them, happiness is about sharing laughs, stories,and exciting things with others.

I-people like quiet time. They feel more relaxed and happy when they' re alone, doing things like reading, drawing, or just watching movies. They don't need a lot of people around. They just need themselves and their favorite activities.

But neither way is better! Both E-people and I-people can be happy, as long as they do what they enjoy. It's like finding your favorite taste of ice cream—— some people love chocolate,while others love strawberry. Both are great, but it depends on what you like.

The most important thing is to understand yourself and do what makes you happy. Life is ab out finding what works for you and enjoying every minute.

So, whether you prefer laughing with friends or enjoying quiet moments alone, accept your t rue self. Be yourself, and your life will be filled with joy!

Bob was in Class Four, Grade Eight. So was Joe, the1 kid in the class. He was talented in nearly everything, including art, maths, the science fair, writing and sports.
