John and Anthony visited Christian again another year later. Christian had a family and two babies, but he still jumped happily around John and Anthony. He was too big and knocked (碰撞) them down easily. John and Anthony were sad to leave him, but they were also glad to see Christian living freely in Africa.

A Small Step in My School Life

Coral reefs are one of the most amazing natural wonders on Earth.They are often called "the rainforests of the sea" because they are home to thousands of kinds of fish，plants and other animals.Coral reefs cover less than 0.1% of the ocean floor but they support more than 25% of all sea animals.

Coral reefs are not just rocks.They are made up of small living things called coral polyps （珊瑚虫）.These polyps live in groups and produce a hard material that forms the body of the reef.Coral reefs grow very slowly—only about 1 to 2 cm per year.Some coral reefs have been around for millions of years.

But there is hope.Many groups and people are working hard to protect coral reefs.Scientists are researching ways to help coral reefs adapt （适应） to climate change.Volunteers are cleaning up plastic waste from the ocean.Governments are making laws to stop catching too many fish and reduce pollution.

We can also do our part to protect coral reefs.We should follow the rules.For example，don't touch or pick corals.Besides，say no to coral products.And we can take part in coral protection volunteer work.Every small action can help save these beautiful natural wonders.

"Let's go for a colourwalk," my seven-year-old sister said excitedly.
