The Morin Khuur(马头琴) is a very traditional Chinese instrument. It comes from Mongolia and has a sound. It is soft and smooth, but also deep and strong. It can sound like a horse running or crying. There is a horse-head on its  , and that's why it's named the Morin Khuur.

Artisans(工匠) in Jilin, China, are famous for making the  Morin Khuur in China. And their skills of making the Morin Khuur have been naturally passed down.

Edward Messelt, a foreigner, came here years ago. He is studying  than most people on how to make the Morin Khuur from Master Bai Su Gulang. There are  than thirty steps in making it.They include choosing the wood, making the horse-head, and then fixing, tuning(调音), painting. Edward said, "If you want to learn something fast, making the Morin Khuur may not a good choice. It needs time and."

Edward thought making a Morin Khuur is like a job. Just like cooking, there is always a way to do it. However, the result is not always  , but he won't lose heart.

After learning a whole year, Edward has mastered some skills. He hopes to take this tradition back to his country. He  believes the Morin Khuur has a bright future. "It isn't only nice to listen to, but also can give people different  ." he said.

Grant's last birthday party was like no other. While most kids ask for 1 or parties with their friends,Grant asked for something special.

Creating art with tea is not known by many people. This is actually a cere-mony with  .

Han Zheming has studied this skill of creating  , or diancha, for a long time. Over the past seven years, Han has used tea to create about 200 paintings. Han didn't simply copy diancha, but connected it with ancient people's paintings. "It's like giving people a  of ceremony, so drinking tea becomes much more interesting," Han says. Han also reads lots of tea books written in the Song Dynasty.

The art begins by pouring hot water into fine powdered tea(茶粉). The  is to add more hot water while whisking(搅拌) the tea with a bamboo stick.

When  his understanding of this tea art, Han says, "I want more young people to understand the culture behind diancha better."

The sports meeting was coming. Mario was going to the race. He needed a new pair of shoes.

On a Sunday morning, Mario's mother took him to the store. A shop worker measured (量) Mario's feet."Your feet are size 2," the shop worker said.

How is it going? You said you always thought that your  learning abilities were better than yours. That's because they seemed to understand things more quickly. I once had a similar with you. So I'd like to  you not to be discouraged and you should try to find your own learning ways.

Firstly, to increase my knowledge in science, I watched  science documentaries(纪录片)every weekend. After watching, I reviewed the key  and wrote them in my notebook. In this way,I not only remembered what I learned but also found it easy  questions in class.

Besides, I short poems about my daily life to improve my writing ability. It was a fun way to practice using words.

Moreover, I tried what I learned in different subjects. I also joined study groups where I could share ideas. By listening to others' thoughts, I got some new ideas. As time went by, I found myself making great . I knew that everyone could learn well if they used the right methods.

Through that, I not only improved my grades but also faced challenges positively. I realized learning is not about comparing yourself with others but about finding the  ways. Hope my story can help you!

Andrew loved playing football with his friends. One sunny afternoon, they started a 1 in the school playground. All of them were full of energy and played excitedly. When Andrew's friend tried to pass him the ball, Andrew used his 2 to catch it.

Hermit crabs(寄居蟹) are small animals that live in the ocean or on the beach. The crab has its own hard shell (外壳) but it only covers part of its body. The  cannot be protected without a shell. So the crab will find an empty shell and climb inside to stay safe.

As a hermit crab grows, a bigger shell is needed. Hermit crabs may stay together to exchange shells or shells. Hermit crabs eat just about  they can find, such as plants, dead fish or even food left on the beach. In this way, they help beaches stay clean.

However, some hermit crabs can't find real shells. Sometimes plastic bottles and caps are seen as real shells . Once inside, many cannot get out and slowly die. If these , like beach clean-ups, recycling, and using less plastic, are taken, they will make a big difference.
