Honesty Corner

In the Sunny Garden community centre，there's a special place called"Honesty Comer". It is a small shelf where people can buy food and drink. What makes it special is that there is no shop assistant. When paying，people just put money into a small box. Everything depends on trust. 

The idea came from Mr Li，head of the community. He believed that honesty should be practised in daily life.

Nowadays, AI is becoming more and more important in our daily life. It is one of the most wonderful  (invent) in the world. It makes our life  (easy) and more convenient. We can use AI on our smartphones to finish homework faster, search  useful information and communicate with classmates online. We can also use AI apps to listen to English, read passages and improve  (we) skills.

AI can also help with housework. AI is  (use) by some clever machines to clean rooms, wash dishes or cook simple meals. They can work without people's help and save us much time. Parents sometimes check  these machines are safe for children to use.

When you feel hungry, you can easily  food on your phone. Soon a delivery rider will bring a warm meal to your door. The job looks simple, but it is  very hard. Life is difficult for delivery workers in big cities. A film helps us understand their daily life.

The film follows a delivery driver  Jin. His day starts early and ends late. He works for more than 12 hours every day, racing against time. Customers can see  he is on a map in their app, so he feels great pressure to be fast. Also, riders are sometimes asked to do extra work,  taking out the rubbish when they leave.

The challenges he faces are  for drivers everywhere. They are often  to hurry by the system. The money they get depends on how many orders they finish, so it changes every day. If they get  or sick, they get no pay for that day. Life is even harder in expensive cities.

This film shows the real people behind our convenient life. Their work is  but also tiring. So, the next time your food arrives, think of Jin. A warm smile and a simple "thank you" can make a big . It is the best way to show respect for their hard work.
