Chuck is a frog(青蛙) and he loves (eat) flies(苍蝇).

Each morning, Chuck sits under a spider' s web(蜘蛛网). Then when Mrs Spider goes out,Chuck eats flies from her web.

Experts(专家) say that 80% of Thailand' s coral reefs are dead.

There is a lot of pollution(污染) on these beaches because of too many visitors. An expert says the biggest problems are hotels by the beaches, boats, and plastic waste(塑料垃圾) in the sea.He believes the best way is to close the beaches forever. He says,"I hope the government(政府) can take steps to protect the coral reefs. At the same time, I also hope all of us should try our best to pro-tect the environment(环境) around us."

Many people have weight problems. These problems are bad for their health. One of the big-gest reasons is that we sit around too much. So the best way to lose weight is to move your body.

Turn off the TV. It's the first thing that you need to do. Once a week, turn off the TV and play some sports with your family. You can do something interesting instead of sitting in front of the TV,such as playing football and taking a walk.

Walk more. Look for small ways to walk more. When you get the mail(邮包), take a walk around the house. Take the dog for a walk each day or ride your bike for 10 minutes before getting ready for work.

Do some housework such as watering the flowers, cleaning the windows and washing clothes.These activities may not be vigorous(强有力的) exercise, but they can keep you moving.

A Natural Wonder in China

China is home to many breathtaking natural wonders. One of the most famous and beautiful ones is the Huangguoshu Waterfall.

Most children have a sweet tooth. However,(eat) too much candy or drinking too many sugary drinks is bad for our health. So far, many countries have started to do something to control the amount of sugary drinks kids can have.

A law limiting the sale and advertisement of sugary drinks started in Boston,the US, in August. It (be) impossible to buy sugary drinks in schools and government buildings in the city next month. 

Mayor Menino said of the reasons behind the law:"Forty (percent)of the kids in Boston public schools are too heavy." About one half of the US population aged 2 and older drink sugary drinks every day. One in five American children aged 12 to 19 is too heavy,according to the report.

Many other countries have taken similar actions already. In August,(French) started a new tax(税) on sugary drinks. Hungary(匈牙利)(introduce) a similar tax in early September.Governments hope this will keep populations (healthy).

China (face) the same problem now. According to a recent study by Chinese Center forDisease Control and Prevention, middle school students in big (city) in our country each drink about 1, 200 mL of sugary drinks every day. In the last 20 years, the number of overweight school children has increased 5 to 10 times.

Gao Xiang of Harvard Medical School called on the Chinese government (deal) with the situation. Some suggestions, including stopping the (sell) of sugary drinks in schools and limiting their advertisements, was given by Gao, too.
