Alisa started recycling potato chip bags to reduce waste. She often turns these bags into blankets(毯子) to give to the homeless. One day, my grandpa and I went to a supermarket to buy daily necessities. As I looking at different foods, I begged(央求) my grandpa to buy me some snacks, but he refused. Finally, we bought some purple corn instead.
Grandpa boiled the corn until it turned soft and sweet we arrived home. The wonderful smell made me immediately pick it up and start eating, it burned my mouth. Grandpa watched me and smiled. The taste was unforgettable.
