Why do I decide to settle down here? I can always find interesting things to do in Qingzhen. And it often impresses(给……深刻印象) me with its (nature) beauty. In spring, I go to Xiangchou Guizhou scenic area(景区) to play with animals or have a picnic. In summer, I go swimming at Hongfeng Lake or visit the water park with friends. There are many mountains, forests and lakesin Qingzhen. They make it a great place for (boat),hiking and cycling. Qingzhen is my second hometown. It's really agood place (enjoy) a peaceful life!

Do water sports like swimming and other water sports. They can keep you cool and healthy at the same time. But it's important to keep safe when you are playing water sports.

Get enough sleep. The day is long and the night is short in summer. But we still(仍然) need enough sleep.Students usually need 8 hours of sleep every night.

How do you feel when cold winter comes? Many say they feel terrible in very cold weather. But you are lucky because you don't live in Siberia(西伯利亚).

In many places in Siberia, the winter is always very long and it's very, very cold! lt begins to snow in November and the snow leaves the next May. The temperature (气温)is often about -25℃, but it's sometimes much lower. When it's -35℃，students don't go to school, but people still go to work! And in some places,the temperature can be-70℃.In spring and summer it is often cloudy and it often rains a lot, and people don't often see the sun.

You may think there are not other things but ice and snow in Siberia.In fact,many people live there and there are lots of trees. People there wear a lot of warm clothes. All the houses have heating, so it's never cold in them. In winter, people close the windows, and they don't open them again before spring comes.

In the south of China, winter is usually short and cool.It sometimes rains.In summer, the weather is often hot and wet.

The weather in the south-west of China is quite special.It is nice to live there because summer is cool and winter is warm.

The weather in the middle and east of China is quite different. It is hot and dry in summer and very cold and wet in winter.

In the north of China, it is very cold and dry in winter. There is sometimes heavy snow. But many people like playing in the snow. Summer is different. It is sometimes very hot during the day, but it is often cool in the evening.Spring and autumn are the best seasons.

However, people make too much carbon dioxide and the weather is getting warmer.We must do something to stop great changes in weather.

In the 3D space of air, flying cars will move around without bridges or tunnels. Cars will parkon the tops of houses. This will free up parking space on the ground. Also, we won't spend much time on our way because we will get somewhere faster and spend more time doing the things we like. We will be able to sleep in more before school because the flying cars will get us to school faster than normal buses. We will be able to get home faster because there will be fewer traffic jams in the air. 

Some people think flying cars are not a good idea. It will be dangerous for flying cars to fall out of the sky. Maybe many people will lose their lives because of this.

收容所里的新家人

One day, as the sun set, Tina came home from school. As soon as she walked through the door, she was told that her family was ready to adopt (收养) a dog. After seeing the picture of the dog, Tina danced . The dog was a Maltese, and Tina thought it was the   dog she had ever seen. Right away, she set aside a corner in the living room for the dog. She was   about the day when the dog would arrive. 

However, the bad news came. The next day, the animal shelter(收容所) called to tell Tina's mother that something had gone  . "Another family ahead of us on the waiting list chose the Maltese, and all of the other dogs had already been chosen as well, " her mother said. Tina   crying sadly. 

A week later, the animal shelter got six Chihuahua dogs. Tina's family decided  one they liked. Among all the dogs, a dirty little dog named Sailor caught  attention. When they saw it, it was putting its whole head into its water bowl. Tina and her parents fell in love with sailor at once. It might not be the Maltese they  at first, but it brought them a special kind of joy. In the end, sailor became a member of Tina's family. Tina felt very  . Even though things didn't go as planned, they'd found a great new family member. 

Our lives are full of uncertainties, just like Tina's experience.  But when one door closes, another . Instead of being sad in the face of disappointment, we should keep a positive mind to discover new chances. 

What can we learn from Tina's experience?

Can you imagine how ancient people spent their time without the Internet? Ancient Chinese people not only expressed their feelings through poetry and songs but also created many leisure(闲暇) activities. Touhu is one of them. 

Dateing back over 3, 000 years to the Zhou Dynasty, touhu was played by nobles(贵族) at first. Later, during the Tang Dynasty, it became popular among common people. Players showed their skills and smooth movements. The game's easy rules and tools have stayed the same, passed down from the Song Dynasty to today. 

Playing touhu is easy and enjoyable. All you need are some sticks and a jar, which is often beautifully designed. Place the jar a few steps away. Players take turns aiming and throwing sticks. You score a point when your stick lands inside the jar Hitting special places inside the jar might get more points. The winner is the first to reach a set score or the one who has the most sticks in the jar after several rounds. 

As an interesting and traditional game, touhu is deeply connected to Chinese culture and is often played during important festivals like the Dragon Boat Festival and Mid- Autumn Festival. During these times, people play touhu to bring everyone together. Besides being fun, touhu also teaches players about history and social etiquette(礼仪), which shows important values like accuracy(精准), self- control, and respect for tradition. It also helps us understand our culture better. 

Today, many people enjoy traditional culture, so this ancient game often appears at festivals and community events in China. Both the young and the old love it. Touhu is now seen as a valuable part of traditional culture. Why not give it a try to keep this amazing tradition alive?

These days,''Citywalk" is becoming popular with young people. It's about walking around a city and finding unusual things in the city. The walks take you to places where you can talk with local(当地的) people, eat at small but authentic(正宗的)restaurants, and know well about the city.
