The  park attracts thousands of visitors every year. 

When the one-year anniversary of the China-Central Asia Summit came, the Central Asia Park opened on Sunday in Xi' an, Shaanxi Province. 

The park is 56, 000 square meters. It has the theme of the summit and the Belt and Road Initiative. 

It wants to make a platform for trade and people-to-people exchanges about food. culture, trade talks and tourism for China and Central Asian countries. 

Sun, a senior official from Xi' an Chan ba International Port, said the opening of the Central Asia Park is a way to do what the China-Central Asia Summit said. 

He also said it meets the needs of business people and friends from Belt and Road countries and regions to talk business and invest in Xi'an. 

Yang, the director of the port's management committee, said the Central Asia Park, near the summit place and by the Bah e River, was changed from the old exhibition park. 

It has three main parts: a landscape area, a Silk Road reception lounge and a Central Asian dining area. 

He said it's an important platform for cultural, economic and trade exchanges for Belt and Road countries and regions.

Every year on 15th October, over 200 million people around the world take part in Global Handwashing Day.  Well, research shows that not enough people often wash their hands with soap. Experts believe that leads to the deaths of millions of people every year. Sidibe, a public health expert says soap is "the most beautiful invention in public health".  Handwashing with soap prevents babies from getting ill and keeps children healthy at school.  This is partly because there aren't enough resources in poorer countries, but it's also because for many people, handwashing is simply not part of their everyday life. It's not easy to get people to change habits they learned in early childhood— but this is what Global Handwashing Day wants to do. 

In 2008, the Indian cricket team joined around 100 million Indian school children in washing their hands to promote the first ever Global Handwashing Day.  Today, local and national leaders continue to use the day to spread the message about the importance of clean hands.

There were scenes of joy and relief when Russ Cook reached the northernmost point of Africa, becoming the first person to run across the entire continent. 

This marks the end of a 352-day journey for the Englishman.  He ran 16, 000 kilometers through 16 countries, starting from Cape Agulhas in South Africa and ending at Ras Angela in Tunisia. For the last part of his run, the 27-year-old was joined by supporters. 

Cook, who has said that running helped him deal with mental health problems, previously ran about 3, 000 kilometers from Istanbul to his hometown of Worthing. 

His run in Africa has raised more than 800, 000 euros for the Running Charity, which works with young homeless people, and Sandblast, a charity that helps displaced people from Western Sahara. 

Throughout this huge effort, which he recorded on social media, Cook had overcome many challenges. In Angola, armed thieves stole cameras, phones, cash and passports from him and his support team, and then he was given a police escort. Cook also had health problems like recurring back pain, and he was not given a visa to cross through Algeria. But after an appeal on social media became very popular, the Algerian Embassy in the UK helped. 

After pushing through all these difficulties, Cook lived up to his nickname" the Hardest Geezer". He celebrated with strawberry daiquiris on the beach. 

Zheng Qinwen, a remarkable Chinese tennis star, achieved an outstanding victory on Saturday at Roland Garros. This astonishing win made her the very first Olympic singles champion in Asia.

Zheng said that she is extremely honored to be among these legends but will keep being determined and focused on achieving more remarkable achievements. 

"I have always desired to be like Yao, Liu, and Li. I have been working tirelessly for this and have ultimately demonstrated that I have the potential to be the leader of Chinese tennis, "Zheng said to China Daily on Sunday. 

"I feel incredibly fortunate and proud. I am well aware that I have met many defeats, but I also clearly understand my goals. I have many more dreams to fulfill, for instance, winning Grand Slam titles. Therefore, I will definitely not stop going after my goals, " she added.
