In-person (当面的) Invitation

An in-person invitation can let you talk to your friends about the party and know their interests. But when you talk to your friends, you may forget some important information. So you'd better prepare a paper invitation for them, too.

Mailed Invitation

The most traditional way to invite your friends is to mail invitations. You need to write down all the information about the party, such as the time, the place, clothes to wear, things to bring, your phone number and so on.

Phone Call

If you want to save time, you can just make a phone call. In this way, you can tell them more about your party. And you can hear if they are interested in the party.

Online Invitation

You can also invite friends to a party through the Internet. You can buy some online invitations, put pictures and videos in the online invitations and then e-mail them to your friends.

That's part of growing up. Growing up means understanding what you can do and what you can offer to the world. When you are young, you don't see that. But when you get older, you'll know that just by being yourself, you do give something to other people.

Maybe you aren't the best, but that doesn't make you "not special". Think about friends. Write down some things that you like about them. Think carefully about why you're friends, then you will know that though they aren't the smartest or the prettiest, they are in their ways. And they feel just the same as you!

In fact, it is great to be the best at something, but it's OK if you can't be the best. If you just live your life and try hard, you are still pretty amazing. And you can make your dream came true.

Li Wei is a seventh grader. He makes a timetable for this term. The timetable is important to him because it helps him arrange (安排) his school days well. Here's what his daily life is like on school days.

So how can a timetable help students? First of all, it can help improve their health. Some students have no time for a good breakfast or some exercise. Also, they go to bed late and have difficulty getting up early. We all know they are important parts of a healthy life. With a timetable, these students can do them well even when they're busy with their schoolwork. Second, a timetable can help them do more things in one day. It sets time for different things, so they know what to do at different times. Then they can make good use of their time and finish more things. Li Wei is a good example for this.

Some students find it difficult to keep a timetable. But when you do the same activities every day, they finally become your habits. Why not try making a timetable for yourself?

Then, Tony called his friends. After that, he was happy. "Mom, thank you. They said yes. I will have a great weekend," Tony said.

China is the first to grow, make, and drink tea. There are many kinds of Chinese tea. Orange trees grow in warm and sunny places. You can often find them near rivers because they need lots of water to grow. Some orange trees can grow to about 30 feet (英尺) high! In the spring, the trees have white flowers. Later, these flowers change into oranges. An orange tree can grow about 1,200 oranges in a year! When the oranges are big enough, farmers pick them by hand. Sometimes they use machines (机器) to pick oranges. Then they send the oranges to a juicing plant.

What happens to the oranges at the juicing plant? First, workers squeeze the oranges, and get the juice. They put the juice into bottles. Then they move the bottles onto big trucks. Finally, the orange juice is ready to go to stores. People can buy and enjoy the tasty juice!
