In the central square of Zengchong Village in Guizhou stands a special wooden tower lhe Zengchong DrumTower. Built in 1672, it is one of the oldest Dong drum towers in China. It shows the great building skills.(theDong people and is a key national cultural relic(文物).
The tower is 25 meters high with 13 layers of roofs. It is made only of wood in a special way. The wood' ts perfectly without any nails(钉子). In the old days, people used different drum-beats to send messages.
