Last year, I went to Canada with my family in autumn. It was my first time to see the beautiful autumn there.

My hometown is a small town in the north of China. The seasons here are very distinct.
When I was a child, winter was very cold. The temperature often dropped to -10℃, and heavy snow covered everything. We spent most of our time indoors, and sometimes we went out to make snowmen. But now, winter is getting warmer. It rarely snows heavily, and we can even play outside without wearing thick coats.
Spring used to come late. We had to wait until April to see green trees and flowers. But now, spring comes earlier. By March, the fields are already green, and flowers start to bloom.
Summer is still hot, but we have air conditioners now. When I was young, we only had fans, and it was hard to sleep on hot nights. Now, every room has an air conditioner, and we can stay cool easily.
Autumn is still my favourite season. The weather is cool, and the fruit is sweet. I still go to the orchard with my family to pick apples every year.
Though some seasons have changed, the love for my hometown and the joy of seasons never change.
