Most people catch a cold by touching things that another person with a cold once touched. You can even catch a cold by shaking hands. So, if  has a cold, you should try not to use his cups, dishes or telephones.

To fight a cold, the body healthy food. It means that you  eat healthily, but not eat too much. And drinking lots of water is . Also be sure to get enough sleep and stay warm.When you get a cold, having a good rest is  useful.

You should also try to protect other people. Cover  mouth and nose with a tissue(纸巾) when you cough. all the things that you touch with very hot water before someone else uses them.

One day, Debbie's doorbell rang suddenly. It was 16-year-old Amy from next door."Help, my brother Dylan is bleeding," she shouted. Debbie and her sister Ellen ran to their neighbor's house to find 8-year-old Dylan bleeding heavily from a huge cut in his arm. Amy looked after Dylan while their mum was shopping. But Dylan fell down while running through the house. He broke a glass door by accident and hurt his arm.

A few weeks later, Dylan got well and was back from the hospital.

Teenagers should develop a hobby. A hobby can give you different kinds of challenges. You need to find different interests and decide which hobby really interests you. You can take up a hobby that can challenge you physically, such as rock climbing or swimming. But this may be hard to do. Here are four great reasons to work it in:

Hobbies help build a teen's confidence. By finding an area of interest, a teen can build his skills. This leads to positive results and builds teenagers' confidence.

A hobby helps teens have a sense of their identity (身份). Our likes and dislikes help us know who we are as people. Hobbies help by sending a signal,"I like doing this. This makes me feel good. So this is a part of whoI am."

Hobbies keep teens from getting bored. Bored teens look for things to do and are more likely to do something bad. Helping teens cultivate a hobby is helping them stay out of trouble.

Hobbies will help teens to get on well with their parents. When a teen has a hobby, they will have something to talk with their parents. They can communicate with each other easily.

Hobbies are for everyone at any age. If you are looking for a new hobby, but you're not sure what it is, please read the passage.

 Before you try a new thing, you might think,"I don't like that." Why not give it a chance if you never do it?
