—I really like it, but I can't____ it.

Imagine staying on an island alone. You can only take five things with you. You might put food, water, tools and clothes on your list. But what about the  one? Most people would choose something for fun, like a novel, a magazine or a solar(太阳能的) media player. After all, no one wants to get ! 

Fun can do away with bad  and lift our spirits. Just picture  yourself watching a funny film on that island. Sitting under the trees will not be boring at all. It becomes a  of joy. 

Fun also keeps  feeling young. As George Bernard Shaw once said, "We don't stop playing because we grow old. We grow old  we stop playing."

Research also shows that fun brings people closer. No one is an island. Having fun is a good way to connect  others. So, next time, invite your friends  live music together. It's not just about  fun. You will be closer because of the shared experience! 

Fun is important in a lot of . Don't forget to take some time out to have fun and enjoy life! We need to work hard. But we should be able to play hard too.

In Singapore, many middle school students spend a lot of their time on their studies. A good education is often regarded as(被视为) a 1  to success in their future. So, many of these students try their best to 2  good marks(分数) in their tests. They have a lot of homework every day and the test is a 3  problem. Sometimes, some of them are even made to go to remedial(补习的) classes after school. 

Singaporean students study hard, but they have a lot of fun after class. Do you want to know what4 they like to do after class? They can 5  all kinds of sports and games, music and dance, hiking and rock-climbing. 

In their free time, most students like to watch films. Hollywood movies are very popular among them. They also like movies made in Hong Kong and Singapore,6  they can understand them very well. Some of the students also 7  their free time using the internet, emailing their friends, and playing computer and video games. They8 go to cafes, fast-food restaurants, shopping centers and big bookstores. They can have a good9  there. 

So, it looks like life as a middle school student in Singapore is not easy, but it is very10 .
