What do you want to be when you grow up? A teacher, an engineer, a doctor... They seem to be many people's dream jobs. After reading Airkir Duliki's story, you  (know)  about a job—a train conductor(列车长).

Airkir Duliki is China's first Tajik train conductor. She  (grow) up in a village in Xinjiang. Railways (be) not a common thing for people living there in the past.

Airkir had her first train ride when she  (go) to university in Urumqi, Xinjiang.

Firstly, her father  (drive) her to the Kashgar train station from their village. Then Aírkir took a train (her) from Kashgar to Urumqi. She felt (excite) on the way and she decided to work on the train when she finished university.

Airkir started working as a train attendant (列车员) after (finish) university in 2019.She worked very hard and did her job quite  (good), and in 2023, she became a train conductor. Airkir works on the railway line between Kashgar and Chengdu. A large part of her job is to walk around on the train to help  (person). Although she is busy at work, she feels happy to help people.

Firstly, find what you are interested in or what you're talented in. You may like listening to music, dancing, or working with computers. You may be talented in sports. Finding your own interests and talents is the most important step for career planning.

Secondly, know about some possible careers. If you find your interests and talents,        ▲        . If you love sports, for example, you may think about a career as a P. E. teacher or a soccer coach. If you like English, you can choose to be an English teacher or a translator(译员).

Maybe the advice about career planning here can't solve all the problems when you decide on the careers in the future, but it can make you do that more easily.

People often talk about jobs. But when I tell others what I do for a living, they can hardly believe it. I spend my day at work eating chocolate! I taste chocolate to make sure that people can get excellent chocolate from our factory.

Every week I receive chocolate from our factory. I have to check (检查) its taste and smell. I also have to taste raw materials (原材料) we usually use. I spend days choosing the best ones to go into the chocolate. Just beside my office I have a kitchen. I test and taste chocolate I make there.

My kitchen is full of machines. It's wonderful to work there during the day.

No two days are the same in this job. Sometimes I am in the kitchen. Sometimes I'm out of the country buying the raw materials we need and because I have a young family, that can be difficult. But I love this job. Many people ask me if I get bored of chocolate. I've worked with it for a long time, but I've never thought about not wanting to eat it any more. In fact, I often eat some more in the morning at home！
