Many also start trips without any plans, enjoying surprises along the way. On Xiaohongshu, one person wrote, "Arriving in Datong, Shanxi, in an hour. Any suggestions for relaxed dining and activities?" A growing focus on feelings also plays a role, according to People's Daily. "Just visiting" is not enough anymore. People want immersive experiences, like visiting local people's homes, joining in local activities or relaxing by a campfire. 

At the same time businesses and local governments are also introducing different policies to attract tourists. Hainan Province said it would give tourists lower prices on transport, accommodation and more, CCTV News reported. Companies are also organizing factory visits, turning good and fast production lines into tech museums and places of fun for families. The rise in the popularity of factory visits shows the growth of Chinese brands and smart production in China, Xinhua said.

Everyone had a wish fish. The fish made wishes come true. As a wish fisher, Sakura could tell whose fish it was. It was her job to catch the fish and give it to its owner so they could make their wishes. Sakura was born a wish-fisher, just like her mother, but she really wanted adventures. Sakura hoped that she'd find her own fish and wish for something exciting. One day, Sakura didn't catch a single fish. Where were all the wish fish? A week later, there were still no fish. Instead, she found a big ship. She climbed onto the ship and found a heavy net full of wish fish dragging behind the ship. 

"Why are you stealing other people's wish fish?" Sakura shouted to the boy on the ship.

The fish sparkled and the dragon disappeared. The boy fell into the water. So did the wish fish. The boy looked at Sakura and understood his mistake. Together, they watched the wish fish swim freely in the river. At that moment, Sakura realized her job was the greatest adventure of all. 

"How about catching the wish fish with me?" Sakura said. From that day on, the boy often volunteered to help Sakura, finding more joy in helping others.

Chinese soldiers are now welcoming some new "teammates": robot dogs. These China-made robots recently showed their amazing s at the China-Cambodia "Golden Dragon 2024" joint exercise (联合演习) in May.

During the joint exercise, Chinese team members were able to control remotely (遥控) a robot dog called Go2. It quickly checked for obstacles (障碍物) like fences and old tires. With cameras on its head, Go2 can send l video back to headquarters.

Go2 is also very small. It weighs only 15 kilograms. It can do things like jumping, moving backward and even lying down-just like a real dog. It can work for two to four hours at a time before it needs a "rest".

A heavier robot dog, B1, can not only check areas but also a. It carries a gun on its back and can shoot when ordered to. It can carry things as heavy as 80 kilograms on its back.

The robot dogs can help soldiers with d tasks, such as going through rainforests or other unclear environment. Their help can stop more soldiers from getting hurt.

Apart from human's best "robot friend", the joint exercise also showed more types of smart equipment, such as drones (无人机). Instead of fighting in a war, these smart machines are used to solve common threat (威胁) like terrorism and natural disasters.

Robot dogs play an important role in many other areas. During the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2023, robot dogs helped find and return thrown discuses (铁饼). Without the robots, people would have needed to cover over 7,000 meters in a single competition. Robot dogs can also be "l". Some robot dogs can "see" clearly through smoke when there's a fire thanks to their special cameras.

In our daily routines, we know exactly how to act and respond to others. But what about being in a new place, surrounded by strangers with different values? It might feel awkward at first. But once you realize that you can still connect with people despite your differences, you become smarter and more self-assured. Learning to face this kind of discomfort helps you grow.

Traveling also helps you understand other cultures. This is important. It's not just knowing "people from that country do this.", in Spain, I found out that people rest for two hours in the middle of the day. Some foreigners think Spanish people are. But they don't know that Spanish people place great importance on family time. Eating together with family is the most important to them. culture can lead to better friendships and work.

Lastly, traveling abroad is an amazing way to pick up a new language. When you're immersed in (沉浸于) a language, you use it repeatedly. That's how you really improve your skills.

When we arrived, the forest was lush and quiet.3 some started setting up picnic spots, others decided to explore the trails. I noticed that anyone with a map4 making use of it to navigate (导航) the paths safely.
