 Why didn't my teacher believe me? I'm a good student. I really did all my homework last night, though I don't have it now. 

 My teacher knows I'm busy these days.  I'm on the basketball team and have to practice after school every day. But that isn't why I don't have my homework today. 

 Where is my homework? 

 Here is the story. Last night, I went home late and was really tired after practice. However, I didn't forget to do my homework. I ate dinner and did it at the same time. When I finished it, I suddenly dropped some meat on my paper What should I do? It was too late. I couldn't do the homework again on another piece of paper.  Later, my dog Max, who loves meat very much, jumped up onto the table and ate my homework!

My teacher said it was an old story.  It is true this time, but no one believes me. 

There are too many rules in my home and my school. I must get up at 6:00 a. m. Then I have to make breakfast for my family. After that, I must do the dishes. At 7:00 a. m. , I go to school by bike. It usually takes 20 minutes to get to school. We must arrive at school on time. My classes begin at 8:00 a. m. I have four classes in the morning. I must have lunch in the school dining hall. I can't eat in the classroom. Classes are over at 3:30 in the afternoon. I can't play balls or run in the classroom and hallways. After school, I must do my homework first. I can play basketball only on weekends. After dinner, I can't relax, either. I can't watch TV on school days. I am unhappy about the rules. 

Tom and Mike are good friends. They are good with children. They want to find summer jobs. One day Tom tells Mike that Kids Summer Camp needs help with sports, music and computers. They are both very glad to hear (听说) this. 

Tom can play basketball and volleyball, and he can swim, too. Mike can play the violin, the trumpet (喇叭), the drums and the guitar. Tom and Mike like computers very much. Can they join Kids Summer Camp?
