·Sharks are very smart. They don't always kill people because they don't like the taste.

·Every year, sharks  about 4 people around the world. However, people kill around 100 million sharks.

People usually kill sharks  their fins (鱼鳍). Shark fin soup is  popular and expensive dish in many Chinese restaurants. In fact, it is  popular and expensive that sharks are now in danger.

I'm  11­-year-­old boy. It is Saturday today. My parents and I get up early and my little sister  (dress) herself quickly. We eat breakfast early  we want to leave for the zoo early. When we get to the zoo, there are many people in it. My mother likes pandas best, so we go to see them first. Look! Some  (panda) are eating under trees. My mother says, "They are so cute!" But I think they are kind of lazy. They sleep all day. Next, we see the giraffes. My sister is  (real) happy. They are her favorite animals. My sister wants  (give) some food to them. But my mother  (stop) her. "Don't do that! We can't give food to these animals. It's one of the  (rule) in the zoo." Then we see many other animals in the zoo. 

After we come back home from the zoo, our parents tell us, "Animals are our good friends. We should be kind to them. Many animals are  danger now. We can do some things to save  (they)." It is a great day and I learn a lot.

Jane was not very interested in animals when she was a child. Then, one day, her father gave her a toy chimpanzee (黑猩猩). From that day on, she became really interested in animals. 

When she was a 16­-year-­old schoolgirl, Jane dreamed of a career studying wild animals in Africa.

Jane's mother was right. When she was 26, Jane travelled from Britain to the mountains of East Africa. She studied chimpanzees. She watched the animals for a long time and they became her friends. Jane discovered that these animals greet each other with a kiss or a hug, and make and use tools—just like humans do. 

Jane Goodall is now well known all over the world. She made her dreams come true because she never gave up!

What is the weather going to be? You can know about it from animals' activities. 

Some people say they can know the weather from birds. When they see birds fly high, they know it can be a nice day, because birds don't like to fly out when it rains. When the weather is bad, birds don't go outside the nests (巢). Sometimes, a strong wind comes with the rain. Birds don't fly in this terrible weather.

Other animals can also tell the weather. When the rain is coming, chickens may not be quiet, and they run here and there. Frogs (青蛙) usually make big noises in the water. When the good weather back, frogs can come out of the water.
