In China, there are many kinds of foods Some of them are very popular. The most popular Chinese food is dumplings. Now let me tell you something about them. Almost (几乎) everyone in China likes dumplings very much, and there are many different kinds of dumplings. Some have meat and vegetables in them. Some have eggs in them. I like dumplings with vegetables and pork (猪肉) better than any other kind. 

Usually people make dumplings at home. If we have no time to make them, we can buy them from the supermarket. Then we can take them home and eat them with vinegar. 

The Spring Festival is very important in China. We eat dumplings during (在……期间) it. Usually we put a coin in a dumpling. It is said that one will be lucky in the year if he eats the dumpling with the coin. 

In the old days, people couldn't often eat dumplings because they were very poor. Now the condition (条件) has been changed a lot.

My name is Kate. There are many rules in my life. I think these rules are important to me. 

At home, I can't play computer games for more than half an hour. I think it is good for my study because I can have more time to study. I must make the bed after I get up. And I must clean my room every day. So my bedroom is always clean and tidy. My mother says keeping the room tidy is good for my health.

Huang Xuhua, widely known as the father of China's nuclear submarine(核 潜 艇 ), died at 99 on February 6, 2025. Born in Guangdong in 1926, he experienced foreign aggression(侵略) in his childhood, which inspired him to study hard and use his knowledge to make the country stronger.

In the 1950s, China started to develop nuclear submarines, a tough task because of limited technology and resources. However, Huang and his team were not afraid. They took on this challenge. To keep the project secret, they didn't contact the outside world, not even their families.

During the design of the nuclear submarine, they met many difficulties. For example, designing a nuclear reactor(核 反 应 堆 ) was really hard. They couldn't get help from foreign experts, so they had to do research independently. They used simple tools like abacuses(算盘) and slide-rules(滑尺) to calculate and do experiments carefully. At last, in the 1970s, China's first nuclear submarine was built and tested successfully. China became one of the countries that could make nuclear submarines. Huang Xuhua didn't stop. He kept working on improving submarine-making technology. Because of his hard work, he won many honors. In 2019, he got the "Medal of the Republic".

Now, when we think of him, we know his life can inspire us. We, especially the young people, should learn from his spirit. Let's take on the responsibility, face challenges bravely and work hard to make China stronger. In this way, his spirit will live on.

Do you think AI kitchens only exist(存在) in science fiction shows? Well, think again! Nowadays, robots  (use) to do many things in the kitchen, like frying chicken, making pizzas, and preparing salads.

Some people think they know everything. Anansi the spider didn't think that. He was a clever spider. And he knew to have real wisdom(智慧), he had to learn more.
