"Grandpa,why won't you let us throw the chair?" John asked.His grandpa said,"I sat in this chair with your grandma when I asked her to marry me.And I sat in this chair when your grandma was badly ill.I was very sad,but the chair gave me comfort(安慰)." His voice changed when he thought of that unlucky day.

John said,"It is more like a friend." "Yes," he nodded.

However,John's parents carried the chair outside that night.The next morning,John heard the sound of the rubbish truck.He quickly ran downstairs and found the truck was going to pull it away.

"Wait! Stop!" John shouted(呼喊) and rushed outside.The big noises from the truck suddenly stopped.He then ran back inside and cried,"Mum,you can't throw out Grandpa's chair.It is like a true friend of him!"

Hearing this,John's mum ran outside and carried the chair back with John.

●Have breakfast every morning.

●Get enough sleep.

●Take a walk every day.

Walking is an easy way to exercise. You'd better meet friends for a walk, not for a meal. As you walk, you will see the beautiful world around you. If you try, you will find that adding a walk in your everyday life is very easy.

●Join social groups.

Social groups can give you support (支持). You can join social groups, such as sports teams, art groups and music groups. The people in the groups can offer (提供) advice and help each other in difficult times. Also, being in a group keeps your mind busy. An active mind is a healthy mind!
