Who is the most famous artist in the world?If not da Vinci, it might be Picasso(毕 加索).Picasso was one of the most famous artists in the (twenty) century.

Born in Spain,Picasso showed his talent at early age.He could create many amazing paintings.The neighbors all thought he was a genius. this "genius"was not an excellent student at school.

As a poor student,he first learned painting from his father   was an art teacher.At the age of thirteen,he could draw and paint just about anything,and in any style.He also liked to try out new ideas.Picasso lost(he)in the world of imagination every day.

People divided his life and art different periods.One of his most famous periods was his Cubist(立体派的)period.Cubism is a style where an artist paints things,like a bottle,from different angles(角度)all in the same picture.So you see the front,the back and the sides of the bottle all at the same time.In a way,it's a bit like (have)X-ray eyes.

This new way of painting(surprise)the art world at that time.

Picasso(admire)greatly by many artists nowadays.His creative ideas are(true)wonderful and valuable.He has helped us see the world with fresh eyes.

 Supplies including silver,grain,cotton clothes and charcoal were quickly handed out to people in need.Wind and snow never stopped,but countless families got warmth from the emperor's kindness.  From then on,the idiom "offering charcoal in snowy weather"has been passed down from generation to generation.

As I grow up,I gradually realize life plays a very important part in the education I truly want to get.What I mean is that life can teach you lessons no one else can. Luckily for you,it's time to take life's lessons.Read carefully,and you'll understand what I call the school of life.

During the Tang Dynasty(618-907).Emperor Taizong asked the prime minister(宰相)Feng Deyi to recommend talented people.However,several months passed,and Feng didn't recommend anyone.

"There are no outstanding.well-rounded(全面的)people at all,"Feng said.

"People are like utensils(器物).What we need to do is make good use of their strengths.You should blame yourself for failing to spot talented people.How could you claim there are no gifted people in our time?"said the emperor.

Indeed,every utensil or tool has a specific function.A knife is made for cutting things while chopsticks are made for picking up food.We cannot use a knife as chopsticks.Just like utensils,every person has unique strengths.Nobody is perfect,so we cannot expect one person to excel at everything.

Ma Zhou serves as a perfect example.He grew up in a poor family.Ma offered plenty of valuable suggestions,so Emperor Taizong appointed him to an official post and promoted( 晋升) him many times.Ma provided great assistance to the emperor and lefi his name in history.

Zu was also  inventor.He once made a vehicle that carried a pointer.No matter how the vehicle tumed,the pointer always pointed to the south.Zu also (invent)the 1,000-li Boat.The boat could travel about 100 li(50 kilometres)in a day.

Oriann Fallaci was an ltalian reporter, author and political( 政治的)interviewer.Differug from other interviewers,she ereated a new method of interviewing.In her opinion,the bent way  of reporting is putting yourself in your repont,"The reporter is also a centre and an actor,"she  once said.This special opinion helped her get the name of "the queen of news interviews".

During World War l,she had a long and successful career.Fallaci became famoug worldvide for her reporting of wars,and her interviews with many world leaders during the 1960s,1970s and 1980B.Her book Interview withHistory contains lots of long and penetrating(呢 利的)interviews with many leaders worldwide.One of the leaders once described the interview with Fallaci as "the single most disastrous(灾难性的)conversation I have ever had".

Fallaci became a special reporter for an ltalian newspaper in 1946.In 1967,she worked as a war reporter,reporting many famous wars."It was really an awful period of time for me.For many times,I thought my life would end in smoke and fires.At that moment,I just hoped those pictures and letters could be found by those who would find my body and make them known to the world,"Fallaci said.

Fallaci had received many awards in her life.On November 30th,2005,in New York City, Fallaci received the Annie Taylor Award.The Annie Taylor Award is awarded yearly to people who have shown unusual courage in bad conditions and great danger.There is no doubt that she was one of the most famous reporters in the world.
