In order to improve students' health and reduce students' pressure, our country made some rules. Here are some of them.

Firstly, homework for middle school students should take no more than 90 minutes. They can finish most of homework at school so that after school they only spend a little time finishing the rest. Some students can still go to sleep on time even though they don't finish their homework until bedtime. Then they will have more time to relax. Secondly, mobile phones mustn't be brought to class because students are easily absent-minded(心不在焉的) from the lesson. Students must control the time on electronic products to protect their eyesight. They shouldn't lose themselves on the Internet. Thirdly, students are expected to listen carefully and go over lessons in time so that they can master the right methods of learning. Fourthly, parents should often communicate with their children, pay attention to their feelings and help them develop good learning and life habits.

In a word, these rules are helpful to middle school students. If they follow the rules, they can improve their study and health.

Holi is a lively and joyful festival celebrated primarily in India and Nepal, but also by people around the world. Known as the "Festival of Colors", Holi marks the arrival of spring and the victory of good over evil. While it is first a Hindu tradition, its playful and light-hearted nature makes it a celebration that everyone can enjoy, much like April Fool's Day.

Holi usually takes place in March, on the day after the full moon. The festival begins with a bonfire(篝火) called Holika Dahan, which symbolizes the burning of evil spirits. People gather around the fire, sing, dance, and celebrate the victory of good. The next day, the real fun begins. People of all ages go to the streets, parks, and open spaces to throw colored powders and water at each other. These colors, called gulal, come in every shade imaginable—— bright pink, yellow, green, blue, and more. Water balloons and water guns are also used to add to the excitement, turning the celebration into a colorful, messy, and unforgettable experience.

During Holi, social norms are relaxed, and people are encouraged to forget about strict rules and have fun. It's common for friends and family to play tricks on each other, like throwing powder or water onto each other's faces. The festival creates a sense of equality(公平), as everyone—— no matter young or old, rich or poor—— joins in the fun and ends up covered in the same rainbow of colors.

In general, Holi is a holiday that, like April Fool's Day, encourages laughter and a break from the boring and repetitive life. It's a time to celebrate life, connect with others and enjoy being光荣 even if it means getting a little messy along the way!

Around us are all kinds of sounds.  What listeners think of them, though, makes 视all the difference. If a sound makes us unhappy or angry, we think of it as noise. 

But noise might just be a sound in the wrong place or at the wrong time.  Some sounds might be pleasant while we are eating dinner or relaxing at home, but unpleasant if we are at school trying to listen to our teacher. We might like a quiet environment while reading a book, but if we are hanging out with friends, we might prefer to have loud music around.

And everyone experiences sounds in special ways. Some of us prefer to study in silence, while others find it easier to concentrate(集中注意力) with music or the television sound in the background. Some people prefer the quiet of the countryside, while others like the busy hubbub(喧闹) of a city.  Many of them are natural sounds, like birdsong or the sound of running water.

  Most people would agree that a totally silent world might not be a pleasant one. Many sounds make our lives colorful, make our everyday experiences interesting, and help improve our mood(心情).

Sounds are very complex(复杂的). The more we learn about sounds and how important they are in our lives, the more likely we are to truly enjoy a world of sounds.

The movie Ne Zha 2 has  the box office record that was set by the 2021 war film The Battle at Lake Changjin. It has now become the highest-earning(最高票房) movie in China's history. In just one month after it came out on January 29, Ne Zha 2 made about 14 billion yuan, and its final earnings are expected  15 billion yuan.

Directed by Yang Yu, Ne Zha 2 introduces a fresh and creative way to tell the story of Nezha, a famous character from Chinese myths. Nezha first as a god who caused a lot of trouble in the classical Chinese novel Fengshen Yanyi from the Ming Dynasty. In the 1979 animated movie Prince Nezha's Triumph Against Dragon King, he was described as a hero against unfair traditions.

In the 2019 film, Nezha's appearance was very different from before, with dark circles under his eyes and an imperfect smile, changing from the  image (形象) of a handsome hero. The film used humor and surprising plot (情节) turns to show an unexpected hero who fights against his unfair fate.

Ne Zha 2 follows a similar style but goes much  into the story. Even the bad man, Shen Gongbao, a leopard demon(恶魔) who turns into a celestial(天堂的) being, is shown with understandable reasons for his actions. This makes all the characters  more real.

After five years , including over two years spent improving the script(剧本), the 144-minute-long film arrived with 2,400 scenes, 1,900 of which featured special effects(特效).

With a high rating of 8.5 out of 10 on Douban, the film is expected to provide more  For Chinese filmmakers who pay attention to high-quality storytelling and visual effects.

A nuclear submarine is a kind of ship that can travel underwater for a long time. This technology is very important for protecting a country. Huang Xuhua is most famous for his work on nuclear submarines. Huang Xuhua and his team worked hard for many years, overcoming countless challenges, and finally succeeded in building China's first nuclear submarine. This achievement made China one of the few countries in the world with nuclear submarine technology.

During his life, Huang received many prizes for his hard work. Some people called him the "Father of China's Nuclear Submarines". However, Huang refused this title, saying, "China's nuclear submarines were the result of the effort of a team. I was simply doing my duty." Huang Xuhua's passing in 2025 is a great loss for Chinese people.

How would you feel if moving to a new town meant losing touch with your friends? Not very long ago, the only way of keeping in touch with friends living far away was writing letters. Thanks to the development of technology, things have changed greatly.

With the help of social media tools, we can move around the world and still stay in touch with our friends. They enable us to see what our friends are up to and keep friendships. Besides, they make it possible for us to find people who share our interests, even if they live on the other side of the world.

But when you"friend" people online, does this mean that they really are your friends?

Self-talk also helps improve memory. Researchers tested four different ways to memorize things—— reading silently, reading aloud, listening to someone else read and listening to a recording of oneself reading. Those who read out loud recalled(回忆) the information the best, researchers said in their study published in the journal Memory. It's because the information is likely to become a long-term memory if said out loud.
