We were so happy because Dad wanted to take us to go for a trip. We planned to travel to Dali in Yunnan. It's far  our city. So we chose to go there by plane. It took us a lot of money to do that. But it's a  way to travel. My sister and I felt  because it was the first time we had traveled there. We got there on the evening of September 15th. We felt a little tired. After relaxing in our hotel for some time, my sister and I  out for the evening sightseeing tour (夜景观光). My parents didn't like it,  they stayed at the hotel.

On the  day, we took a taxi to the Cangshan Mountain. The landscape was wonderful. To remember the beautiful time, I took many . On the second day, we took a boat trip on Erhai Lake. For dinner, we had  special—rice noodles. We never had that before. On the third day, we visited the Old Town of Dali.  around the beautiful town was really enjoyable. Then I understood the reason why so many  like coming here every year. The trip was short, but we had a great time in Dali.

This vacation, I took a trip to Chengdu with my friends. We booked (预订) the hotel before leaving Xi'an because we all  it was important to have a good rest. We didn't carry food or  unnecessary (不必要的) with us. That was because it only took us two hours to get to Chengdu.

When everything  ready, we set off at 8 p.m. We arrived in Chengdu at 10 p.m. We had  to do but sleep.

The next day, we visited the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (成都大熊猫繁育研究基地). The pandas were so lovely and we took  photos of them. There were many baby pandas at this base, too. Some workers  and washed them, while others played with them. The pandas lived a very happy life there. At this base, we also  some ice cream in the shape of pandas.

Before leaving, I bought some gifts for my little sister, and she liked them very much. It was an exciting trip.

The elephant is 1   biggest land animal. The cactus lives in dry 2  . It doesn't need much water. The Venus flytrap is one of 3   strange plants. It uses its leaves 4   catch insects for nutrition.

Now lots of wild animals are 5   danger. If people keep cutting trees and polluting rivers, animals will 6   their warm homes. Many small insects and beautiful butterflies will disappear too.

It makes us 7 sad to see living things die. So we must take action 8 protect nature. Saving plants and animals is one of 9 important tasks for human beings. We should be friendly 10 every living thing on our planet.
