Durians have many shapes and . Some are big and some are small. Big durians are not  the best ones. They have very big seeds. Some small durians have much yellow flesh (果肉). Their seeds are small and their flesh is thick. Many durian lovers are willing to  a lot of money for good durians. 

Durians grow on the trees. The trees are tall and they have big branches. People climb up and  durians from the trees. Then they drop them from the trees to the people under the trees. They have some  in their hands. They know how to cut durians from the trees. 

People can eat durians directly after buying them and  them home. They say durians are sweet and delicious. Some people even use durians to make all kinds of food such  durian cakes and durian mooncakes. Do you love to eat durians?

What would people like to eat on their birthdays? The answers would be different in different countries. 

In many countries, people have birthday cakes with . The number of candles is the birthday person's age. The birthday person must make a  and blow out the candles. If he or she blows out all the candles in one go, the wish will come true. In the UK, people sometimes put a candy in a birthday cake. The person who eats the candy is . 

In China, it is getting popular to have cake on people's birthdays. But many people still eat very long noodles for their birthdays. They never cut up the noodles because the  noodles are a symbol of a long life. In some places, Chinese people also eat eggs on their birthdays. They are a symbol of happiness and good luck. 

All of these birthday foods may be different, but the idea is the same. They  good luck to the birthday person.

When people meet each other for the  time in Britain, they say "How do you do?" and shake . Usually they do not shake hands when they just meet or say goodbye. But they shake hands after they haven't met for a long time  when they will be away from each other for a long time. 

Last year, a group of German students  to England on holiday. Their teacher told  that the people in Britain hardly shake hands. So when they met their British   at the station, they kept their hands behind their backs. The British students had learned that the  shake hands as often as possible, so they put their hands out and got ready to shake hands with the German students. It  both of them laugh.
