Winter is coming. While we start to put on warmer clothes, people in Russia are ready for a" cool" activity— swimming in icy water! Yes, Russian people like winter swimming. 

Winter swimming is a part of the festival— Epiphany. It comes in January, the coldest month in Russia. 

People dig holes(挖洞) in ice-covered(被冰覆盖的) rivers. Then they jump into the holes and swim in the cold water. People of all ages join in the activity, even little kids. Parents think it could help their kids to grow stronger.
