Giraffes seldom make loud sounds.Their necks can reach two metres in length, making them useful in greeting each other.When two giraffes meet, they may "shake" their necks and rub (摩擦) them against each other.This is to feel how strong and tall the other is.

Giraffes only sleep about 20 minutes every day.They can see and hear well.When a group of giraffes drink or sleep, one giraffe keeps watch.If it finds a lion, it will ask others to run.Giraffes can run very fast.

How to Save Water

Water is important to people, but water is also limited. So we should develop a good habit of using and saving water.

Trees are important to us. They do a lot for our environment(环境) and animals.

Trees help to keep the air clean and make us  (health). They take in dirty air and give clean air to us. Go for  walk in the park in the morning, and you can feel how nice it is to be with many trees and clean air.

Trees give people many kinds of beautiful flowers and delicious fruits  apples and oranges. Trees also give different animals and birds homes. They are even  (real) good places for animals to save food for winter months.
