Do you know who I admire most? Inventors! They bring us so many amazing inventions, and they make  difference to the world. From medical machines to learning tools, inventions  (change) the world in many ways and have also brought many benefits.  

Thomas Edison, one of the greatest inventors in history, made over 1,000 inventions. One of (he) most famous inventions is the light bulb. The invention (total) changed the world by giving people electric lights.

Another great invention is Alexander Graham Bell's telephone. The invention allowed people to talk to one another no matter  far away they were. There are also many other important inventions: The Wright brothers developed the airplane, Philo Farnsworth and John Logie Baird developed television technology. In more modern times, (meet) people's needs, Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs co-designed the first mass-market (面向大众市场的) personal computer.

With the (develop) of technology, more and more new inventions have appeared in people's daily lives,  example, 3-D printers, AI and robots. Now inventors (try) to find more ways to change our lives and make the world a (good) place. We really hope to see more useful inventions in the future.

Today was a , but I slept late because I had a day off from work. I  when I heard a sound. It took me a few seconds to find out what was going on. It was raining hard outside.
