Have you seen a mountain that looks like big steps? 

That's Batai Mountain, an amazing place in Dazhou, Sichuan. 

The name "Batai" means "Eight Terraces" because it looks like it has eight huge flat steps going up. It's very tall (over 2,200 meters). Because it's so high, it's one of the first places in Sichuan to see the sunrise each morning. Watching the sun come up from the top is amazing. 

For nature lovers, Batai Mountain is a good place to visit. You can see fantastic deep valleys, interesting rock shapes, and big forests all around. On the fine mornings, there are thick (厚的) clouds covering the land below, making the mountain peaks look like islands in a huge white sea. And if you're brave enough, you can even walk on special paths (道路) with glass parts high above the ground—it feels just like walking in the sky.

Batai Mountain is a Natural Geopark (地质公园) protected by the government. It's a very important and beautiful place. Whether you like hiking, taking amazing pictures, or just seeing cool natural sights, Batai Mountain is an unforgettable place to visit. It's Dazhou's own natural wonder. 

Last summer holiday, I went to Xi'an with my family. We took part in a summer camp. We went to Xi'an with 1 Americans who were in the summer camp too. So I not only enjoyed my trip, but also 2 five new friends.

As new students in Grade Seven, there are some class rules for you to follow.

Education authorities (政府部门) want schools to give students a 10-minute break between classes because they hear that many students can't leave their classrooms during break. One teacher says that 70% of her students stay in the classroom during break. Some teachers keep teaching after class, and some start the next class minutes early, so students can't go to the bathroom.

Many people are talking about this on the Internet. These days, they watch a video about students not having time to go to the bathroom. Education authorities say that schools must give students a break between classes. This is important for them to keep healthy. They also say that schools can't restrict (限制) break time. They want students to have a 30-minute break each day for exercise. A study shows that 75% of parents think their children's break is too quiet. 50% of parents say that their children can't talk loudly during break, and 30% of them say that their children can't leave the classroom building or speak loudly even outside. Some schools restrict activities during break because of past accidents (过去的事故), such as students getting hurt (受伤), getting lost (失踪), and fighting with each other. But the head teacher of a school thinks that break time is important to students and that students should have a break between classes.
