My name is Anna. I live in an apartment(公寓). There are tall buildings all around. Many people live and work in the city. The streets are full of cars and buses. The city doesn't have many grassy places. But the city park has grass and trees. I often go to the park with my mum and dad. Dad and I play catch(传接球游戏).

My home is close to school. We walk two blocks(街区), then go right. We walk past Mr Abul's shop. We walk past the bank. People wave and say hi. On Saturdays, my family like to go to museums(博物馆). Sometimes we go to the art museum. Sometimes we go to the history museum. There's always something to do and to see. The city is a great place to live!

What do you usually do on Saturday? I usually go to Michael's Farm to see my grandfather and my cousins on Saturday. Michael is just my grand-father's name. 

It's far from my home to Michael's Farm. This Saturday, my friends Eric and Jim go there with me. At 10:00 a. m. , we start off by bike. We take a lot of food and drinks with us because we want to have lunch on our way to the farm. First, we ride on Blue Road for one and a half hours. Next, we have lunch under a tree near a crossing. After lunch, we turn left at the crossing and ride on Sky Road for another hour to get to my grandfather's farm. Along the way, we are tired(疲劳的) but happy. 

My grandfather lives in a big farmhouse. He is very happy to see us. We help him water vegetables, feed(喂) animals and do some cleaning. We play games with my cousins. My grandfather cooks lots of food for us. 

We have a good time with my grandfather and my cousins on Michael's Farm. The next morning, we ride back home. 

Mary is a music teacher. She never gets up late and she is always the first one to get to school. On weekdays, she  (通常地) gets up at five twenty in the morning. After she brushes her (牙齿), she makes breakfast for her sister Jenny and herself. Jenny is a  (记者). She is very busy. 

Mary has no lessons on Tuesday and Thursday. She sometimes goes to the  (餐馆)near her school. There she plays the guitar for the customers(顾客). 

On  (周末), Mary never gets up late either. On Saturdays, she gets up at six o' clock in the morning. Then she does sport and takes a  (淋浴). After that she (准备) some food. She goes to the old people's home with the food. On Sundays, Mary usually  (待) at home and does some (家务活). She doesn't have time to clean the room from Monday to Friday. 

Mary is so excellent that she knows how to make good  (使用) of time.
