A Day of Chores

It was Sunday morning. Lily's mum said, "We need to clean the house today. Who can help me?" Lily and her brother Tom raised their hands.

Mum gave them a list of chores. Lily's job was to clean her bedroom. She first packed up her clothes and put them in the wardrobe. Then she swept the floor and cleaned the desk. After that, she watered the plants on the balcony. "They look so fresh now!" she said.
