What do elephants feed on? Elephants eat roots, grass and fruit. An adult elephant can eat up to 200 kilos of food every day. These hungry animals do not sleep much, and they often travel very long to look for food. 

Now, there are very few elephants in the world. The number of elephants is becoming smaller and smaller because they have less and less land to live on and people kill them for their ivory. I hope you can protect the forest and tell people not to hunt elephants.
