Everyone wants to become better, so do I. To become a better me, I start by believing I can succeed. When I meet a problem, I tell  (me) hard work turns challenges into chances. For example, when I find it difficult to learn maths well, I keep doing maths exercises instead of  (give) up. Up to now, I  (improve) my maths scores by 15 points already.

The Spring Festival, or Chinese New Year, is the most important festival among Chinese people. The holiday  on the first day of Chinese lunar calendar and ends on the 15th day of the same lunar month. The holiday is always  because family can have a great time. On New Year's Eve, Chinese families get together and  late to welcome the lunar New Year. The tradition of going to bed late on New Year's Eve, or even  awake the whole night and morning can add to the families' prosperity. Also, red envelopes are usually passed out by the elderly to teenagers and  during the Chinese New Year's celebrations.

Receiving red envelopes, the younger generations will be able to go through the coming year safe and sound.

Getting along well with others makes our life happier and easier. But it's not always simple—sometimes we may argue or feel lonely. 

First, always be kind. A small act of kindness, like helping a classmate carry books or saying "good morning", can warm someone's day.  Kindness builds trust and makes people want to be around you. 

Second, learn to share. Whether it's your snacks with a friend or your ideas in a group, sharing shows you care.  It also helps you make more friends because everyone likes people who are willing to give.

Third, keep a positive attitude. No one likes to stay with someone who always complains.  Even when things go wrong, try to look for the bright side. Your optimism will make others feel happy too. 

Getting along with others is important for everyone. If you follow these ways, you'll find it much easier to get along with everyone around you.

Do you often compare yourself with other people? Whether it's the number of goals you've scored at football or how many books you've read, it's easy to compare yourself with someone else. It's a natural behaviour that helps humans learn from each other, live happily together and achieve more. However, it's not always helpful and you can find yourself falling into a comparison trap (对比陷阱).

Comparison can make us feel good and bad about ourselves. "Comparing up" means seeing someone is better than you and using that to encourage yourself to aim higher and try harder. However, sometimes it can make you feel rubbish about yourself and undermine your confidence. "Comparing down" is when you see someone who seems like they're not doing as well as you. This might make you feel you're doing well, but it can also stop you wanting to improve.

How do you escape (逃离) comparison trap? Notice how people make you feel and spend time with friends who celebrate your strengths (优势) rather than compare themselves to you. Find ones that make you laugh or show you lovely places instead. Finally, pay attention to your own achievements and how you can improve. The best person you can compete with is yourself.

Let's make positive comparisons. This means you value your own achievements and not someone else's. Celebrate progress instead of the final result. It doesn't matter if someone is better or faster than you; it's important how hard you try. Set some goals and pay attention to your progress. Instead of saying "I can't do it", say "I can't do it yet".

Blind boxes have become very popular toys in China. The idea is simple: the buyers will not know which toy it is until they open the boxes, so it's a bit like gambling (赌博). You may feel happy if you get the things you want, but more often, you can't get what you like. People spend lots of money on their luck.

Pop Mart is a famous company (公司). It began as a small shop in Beijing's Zhongguancun area selling different kinds of products. Later, the company found toys were its most popular and best-selling products.       The idea for blind boxes was from gashapon (扭蛋机) in Japan, which sells blind toys. Although the toys inside the blind boxes cost only about 2 dollars, they sell for around 8 dollars each. This brings the company a lot of money. Pop Mart had around 6.3 billion yuan in revenue (收入) in the year of 2023, 1.7 billion yuan more compared with (与……相比) 2022. 

Nowadays, young people really like this kind of toy. Some buyers have collected over 1,000 dolls. In their eyes, the dolls are symbols of their personalities, or they just want to share something cute.

However, the blind boxes are as hard to stop as gambling. Some toys are hard to get, so people sell them at higher prices in the second-hand markets. Some countries make rules to control the selling of blind boxes, and they work out well.

To keep growing, Pop Mart needs to keep making something new and sell more toys. We wish that Pop Mart can be a world-famous company like Disney one day.
