The healthy and balanced diet(饮食) can make you strong and happy. But not all food is good for your health. Here are some things that you can or can not do to have a healthy body. 

Drink some water after you get up in the morning every day. It can help you clear your body. It's not right if you always do not have breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal in a day. 

Eat plenty of fruits of all colors. Choose fruits rather than fruit juice. You can only drink one small glass of fruit juice every day. 

Fat is a necessary (必要的) part of our diet. We should choose food with healthy fat, such as fish and healthy oil from plants. Remember, you shouldn't eat food high in it. 

Each food has different nutrition(营养). For example, milk, cheese and fish are good for your teeth. Then, carrots and eggs are good for your eyes.

③Treadmills can become boring. Running outside provides(提供) a beautiful scenery(风景). Studies show that just looking at photos of nature can lower blood pressure(降低血压). The fresh air and the unpolluted(未受污染的) nature will also make you run more easily. 

④You burn more calories by running outside. When you run on a treadmill, you only move your legs. But when you exercise outside, you must move your legs, your hands and so on. 

⑤Why not run outdoors? Come on!

I love living in big cities. The great thing about big cities is that you can have food from almost anywhere in the world. October 8th is National Pierogi Day. I celebrated(庆祝) it by going to a Polish(波兰的) restaurant in Shanghai. 

Pierogi are a kind of dumplings. They play an important part in Poland. Polish people eat them during festivals(节日) and celebrations. 

Like Chinese dumplings, pierogi are usually filled with meat or vegetables. I ordered a plate of pierogi and there was meat inside. They came with a bowl of sour cream. Then I ordered a second plate. These were full of apples and cinnamon(肉桂). They were sweet and tasty— like apple pies!

There are many stories about the first pierogi. One story says that Marco Polo brought them to Europe from China. But the truth may be that every country in the world has its own kind of dumplings.
