Family games are great! You can play chess with your parents. You can also play card games with them. These games are interesting and can make you relax.

Learn cooking. When you finish cooking a meal and put it on the table, you will feel happy. So will your parents.

Do some reading. Sometimes you may say there is no time to read books. Find one of your favourite books and start reading it. You can know about many interesting things from books.

Do you like DIY? You can draw pictures on cups or shirts. You can also make new things with paper. Try DIY and make small gifts for your parents. It is a good way to show your love to them.

There are so many interesting things you can do at home. Put down your mobile phone and you will have more time to think, read or do the things you seldom have time for.

Now more and more teenagers don't know how to do chores. Their parents do everything for them at home. I think it is for everyone to learn how to do chores at home. By doing it, we can help each other than before.

We know the English word "housewife" a woman whose main (主要的) job is to take care of her family. But do you know "house husband" in English? Today people often use the word "homemaker (操持家务者)" to take the place of the two.

In the past, most homemakers were women who all the housework such as cooking meals, cleaning rooms and looking after children. But now things are. More and more men are sharing family chores with their wives. A new study shows that many fathers would like to spend more time with their and do more housework for the family.
