The story happened during the Warring States Period. In order to form an alliance (联盟) with Zhao, Wei had to send one prince to Zhao. The King of Wei  (trust) Pang Cong most, so he asked Pang to go along with the prince. 

Pang Cong was (worry) that someone would speak ill of(说.....的坏话) him when he was away. Before leaving, he asked the King of Wei "Your Majesty, a person comes to tell you that there is a tiger in the market now, will you believe it?" The king answered without  (hesitate), "Of course not. It's impossible."

Learning to manage your time wisely can help you get more things done. Just follow these tips to make the most of your time.

Make a to-do list. 

Write down the tasks you need to finish, like doing homework helping with housework or watering a plant. This makes you realize which tasks are more important and need more time.

Organize your workspace.

Move away the things you won't use and put everything you need close at hand. This rule works for both your school study area and your home environment.

Do one thing at a time.

Doing many things at once means you have to jump between different tasks. It's really a waste of time. Thi sh way, you can fully focus on what you're doing and get it done more quickly. 

Morning persons usually have the most energy soon after they getup, while night people might find they are energetic in the evening. Just find out when you are at your best and try to deal with important tasks during that period.

Sleep help you feel happier, keep your energy levels up, and allow you to focus better. Scientists have done a lot of research on babies' sleep and adults' sleep, but they know less about sleep in adolescents(青少年).To find out more about the effect sleep has on adolescents, a team of researchers from China and the UK looked at data from the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study. The research involved(涉及)3,222 adolescents, aged 11 and 12, who were given Fitbits. 

A Fitbit tracks (追踪) a wearer's sleep throughout the night. According to data from Fitbits, the first group of adolescents slept an average(平均数)of seven hours and 10 minutes a night. The second group slept an average of seven hours and 21 minutes a night. The second group slept for an average of seven hours and 25 minutes a night. Across the three groups, there was a difference when certain tests such as word spelling and historical facts were taken. There searchers found that group three did better than group two, and that group two did better than group one.

Barbara Sahakian, a study author, said,"Losing just a little sleep each day can lead to big changes over the years. This effect may seem negligibleat first, but it slowly builds up to influence brain function(功能), especially during adolescence."

Another study author, Wei Cheng, said, "We next need to look at why some teens go to bed later and sleep less than others. Is it because of playing video games or using phones, for example, or is it just that their body clocks do not tell them it's time to sleep until later? We hope to find out scientific ways to help teens achieve quality sleep."

In 1998, a group of friends were making soup together when an idea hit them. They wondered if they could tum their vegetables into musical instruments. The idea started as a joke. But since they were going to perform at a festival anyway they decided to test out their idea. That's when the Vegetable Orchestra (管弦乐队) was born.

Now, some 25 years later, the Vegetable Orchestra has played more than 340 concerts using fresh carrots, pumpkins, radishes and other vegetables. The group has now set a world record for the most concerts by a vegetable orchestra.

The Vegetable Orchestra is based in Vienna, Austria, but performs all over the world. It has 11 members and they come from different fields. Some are musicians full time, while others are artists, writers, or designers.

Making vegetable instruments takes time and skill. Before each concert, the musicians carefully choose fresh vegetables at the market. The size and shape of each vegetable influence its sound. They use tools to create instruments like pumpkin drums, carrot flutes, and celery guitars. During the performance, the vegetables slowly dry out and change sound under stage lights, making each show really special.

Naturally, these instruments are pretty single-use, so the orchestra has a cook that tums some unused vegetables into soup for the audience to enjoy after the performance. The vegetables that they don't eat become organic waste in the end.

The Vegetable Orchestra encourages the audience to attend their concerts with an open mind. it wants to show people how creative music can be. Next time you see vegetables, maybe you'll imagine them as musical instruments too!

I was going to Seoul, South Korea to start my study abroad. At first, I thought it would be a lonely four-month stay and that I would face many difficulties. But I was wrong.

I attended Sungkyunkwan University, a truly amazing university in the heart of Seoul. Built in 1398, it's the oldest university in the country. At the University of Reading in the UK, I studied graphic design, but in South Korea I chose to study more of the business side of design and the Korean language. I really benefit from the different views offered by the professors (教授) there.

I also got help from the Turing Scheme. Thanks to it, I could experience everything in the university without worrying about money. It allowed me to live life to the fullest there.

But the best part of this experience was the people I met along the way. With them, I travelled to places like Pohang, Busan, Jeju, Incheon and more. it wasn't just other exchange students. The students at the host university were also friendly. I now have plenty of friends in South Korea.

I can say truthfully that | fell in love with Seoul. Actually, I'm writing this from Seoul months after my studying ended because I simply don't want to leave. Studying abroad is stressful, but I would do it a thousand times over. If you're considering it, let this be the sign to do it. I think it's better to regret (后悔) doing something rather than to regret never doing it at all.
