Kingsley Lake is one of the best fishing places in Florida, but few people know what really makes it special is its unusually round shape. The lake may be the roundest lake in the world. In fact, we can only see its round shape when we are high above the lake.

What caused Kingsley Lake to have this special shape? Some people think humans changed its structure. However, in fact, humans didn't do anything to the lake. People believe it formed as a sinkhole(落水洞). It also appears that the movement of rocks gave the lake its present shape.

According to the survey, the lake has an unchanging water level because of its drainage(排水) system. This system helps the floodwater easily run from the lake to the areas around.Also, the lake has many shallow(浅的) water areas, so it can be filled with water again.

Kingsley Lake is now a famous tourist place. Each year, it attracts about 120,000 tourists on average. It also provides home for a lot of endangered animals.

Daniel was a shy boy who often sat quietly in the classroom, watching other children laugh and play together. He wanted to make friends, but he was too shy to start a conversation.During the group work, no one wanted to work with him, so he felt sad. That afternoon, he went home with a heavy heart. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he thought,"No one likes me."

March is the month to learn from Lei Feng in China. Lei Feng is probably one of the most famous Chinese soldiers. He helped many people during his 22 years of life. In 1963, Mr Mao called on the nation to learn from Lei Feng, and named 5 March as"Lei Feng Day".

Once, a group of Malaysian(马来西亚的) students from Changsha Social Work College joined their Chinese schoolmates as volunteers. They served passengers at Changsha Railway Station. They carefully helped passengers get on the train and book tickets.

"I was excited and proud when people called me the‘Living Lei Feng'! That was the highest praise for me as a volunteer!"said Lan Zhicong, a student from Malaysia. He learnt about Lei Feng's stories when he was in Malaysia. After coning to Changsha,Lei Feng's hometown, he became the"Living Lei Feng" and continued to pass"the spirit of Lei Feng" with his actions.

Changsha Social Work College held an activity called"Learn from Lei Feng in Lei Feng's hometown". The students, likeLan Zhicong, truly enjoyed being volunteers. They realized volunteer work brought joy to both others and themselves.

Let's all carry the spirit of Lei Feng forward and make the world a better place.

In the town there was a girl called Anna. One day, on the way home, she saw a sad  little dog. Anna thought she needed to help. She called a friendly group called Best Friends. They were experts(专家) at saving animals.

With their , Anna saved the dog and named him Buddy. She cared for the dog , and they became the  friends. She decided to help other animals too. Soon, she became a  at Best Friends and met more animals.

"I always want to do something helpful, so why not  for animals?" said Anna,"and for me, volunteering for dogs is the best  to do that." The workers are really helpful, and it's nice to find homes  animals."

Anna helped the animals with   hard work. Her story  that we can do a job to make a big difference.

Nowadays, every teenager has growing pains and gains. Growing pains are the worries and difficulties we meet when we grow up, such as school pressure, friendship problems and family communication. Many students feel upset about these pains and even want to give up. But in fact, growing pains are part of our growth.

Growing pains can bring us valuable gains. When we face and solve these pains, we can learn to be brave, patient and responsible. We can also gain experience and confidence to face more challenges in the future. For example, if we have trouble with our friends, we will lear n how to communicate better after solving the problem. If we have pressure from school, we will learn how to manage our time well.

As teenagers, we should face our growing pains bravely. We can talk to our parents, teachers or friends when we feel upset.Remember, every pain is a chance to grow, and every gain makes us better. Let's cherish our growing pains and enjoy the gains from them.
