After I finished middle school, I went to Silver Sand Beach with some of my classmates. That was my first time going to the beach so I still remember it after two years. 

We left for Silver Sand Beach at 6 a. m. and arrived at about 10 a. m. When we arrived at the hotel, we bought some ice cream to eat. It was too hot. Then we had a good sleep. In the afternoon, we started to enjoy our great trip. We played beach volleyball and then swam in the swimming pool of the hotel. Before dinner we watched the sunset(日落). It was beautiful and we told stories about our lives and talked about our dreams. It was a cool day for all of us. 

The next morning, we rode bikes to another beach. We took many funny pictures along the way. When we got to Golden Bay Beach, we spent the day there. Golden Bay Beach was very beautiful and there were not many people. We went fishing in the afternoon and watched stars on the beach at night. 

On the third day, we got up early and went back home. Although we were all tired after the trip, we still had a wonderful time. I would never forget the happy time I had on those days. 

Can different kinds of animals be good friends? Different people may have different ideas. But the stories of these animals can show the answer is "Yes". 

Usually, cats don't like dogs. Your pet dog and cat may fight a lot. But in Guangzhou Zoo, a dog and a cat are really good friends. The dog lived with baby lions and bears when it was young. So it isn't afraid of cats. They often play together. The cute dog usually helps the cat clean its hair.

Getting good sleep is important to teens' heaIth

Hard to get out of bed for school on Monday? This year's World Sleep Day on March 21 helped people talk more about the problem of teenagers not getting enough sleep. 

? In the US, 77. 3% of high school students don't sleep enough, according to USA Facts. This takes place because of homework, after-school activities and using phones or pads too much. 

? Good sleep is important for everyone. It's even more important for teenagers. Teenagers need 9 to 10 hours of sleep every day, according to the US National Institute of Health. That's because teenagers are growing a lot in their minds and bodies. 

?For students, sleep helps them do better in school. It helps them remember things better and think more clearly, said Harvard Health. 

?In 2023, MIT found a special part of sleep called "sleep onset (睡眠开始)". This part comes when people are just starting to fall asleep (入睡). Sleep onset helps with creativity (创造力). In the study, scientists asked people to dream about a hard job. After waking up, these people did the job more creatively, said MIT News. 

?It's good to have healthy sleep habits. Stop using mobiles phones or pads at least one hour before going to bed. Go to sleep and wake up (醒来) at the same time every day, even on weekends and holidays. 

Goubuli Baozi is a famous snack from Tianjin. It has a history of more than 150 years. There is an interesting story behind its name. Let's learn about it. 

In the Qing Dynasty, a boy named Gao Guiyou was born (出生) into a farming family in Wuqing, Tianjin. His parents were already forty when he was born. They loved him very much and gave him the nickname (昵称)"Gouzi", which means "baby dog". This name was a way to wish him a healthy life. 

Gouzi was clever and worked very hard. When he was fourteen, he went to Tianjin and got a job in a baozi shop. There, he learned how to make baozi. Three years later, he opened his own baozi shop and named it "De Ju Hao". 

Gouzi was very good at making baozi. He made the baozi skin (皮) thin and soft. The most special thing was that each baozi had 18 small folds (褶), just like a blooming chrysanthemum(盛放的菊花). People loved his baozi. They smelled so good that everyone wanted to take a bite. And his baozi became popular. 

One day, Gouzi was very busy. Many people were waiting to buy his baozi, and he didn't have time to talk to them. So people said, "Gouzi sells baozi, but ignores his customers. " Soon, people started calling him "Goubuli"", and his baozi got the name "Goubuli Baozi". Today, Goubuli uses "GoBelieve" as its English name.

Most teenagers need about9to1hours of sleep, but most kids aren't getting enough sleep. That can(affect) many things, such as your health and feelings. Here are some (way) to have good sleeping habits. 

When you go to bed at around same time every night, your body gets used to it and you fall asleep(easy). And to help your body and mind be ready for sleep,  is useful for you to relax for an hour before bedtime. Also,  the evening, try not to have drinks or food like coffee and chocolate.  you can't sleep after 20 minutes, you can get up or do something else. When you feel (tire) enough, it is the good time for you to sleep.

Without a healthy life, life can be hard. What are the things you should follow to stay healthy? You'd better have healthy food every day. Drinking enough water is important. What's more, doing exercise helps you live a healthy life. 

Family Time

It's your family who will never leave you even in your hard times.  They are those who care about you the most and always help you to do your best.

Wolves may seem scary, but they could help save Scotland's forests! A new study shows that bringing wolves back can make the forests healthy. Why? Because wolves can help trees grow, and trees are really important. They take in carbon dioxide (CO₂), a gas that makes the world warmer. 

In the UK today, there are no wild wolves. Over 250 years ago, people killed all the wolves in Scotland. Without wolves, red deer have no natural enemies (天敌), so their numbers became very large. Red deer love to eat young trees, and this stops forests from growing. Now, only 4% of Scotland has forests, much less than in many other countries. 

Scientists used a computer to see what would happen if wolves came back. They found that 167 wolves could control (控制) the number of red deer. Then, more trees could grow and take in more carbon dioxide (Co) each year!

Some people might not like this idea. Farmers are worried that wolves will make their cows and sheep in danger. But the scientists want to share this new information. They hope people will see the good things wolves can do for nature. 

There was once a farmer. He worked hard all his life. He was very ill and knew that he was dying. 

He had three sons. He wanted to teach them how they can be good farmers. He said to them, "My boys, there is great treasure (珠宝) in my field. Make sure that you will look for it after I die. " The sons said that they would, Sadly, the father died. The sons began to look for the treasure. They dug (挖) and dug from morning to night. 

"I want to know what we will find. " they said to each other. 

Soon, they dug up every part of the field. However, they did not find anything. They were very sad. 

"All that hard work for nothing!" they shouted. 

But then, the crops(农作物) began to grow and the harvest (收成) was great. They sold the crops and made a lot of money. Finally, they understood what their father meant by the great treasure. 

The sons agreed to work hard on the field and lived happily after that.
