Would you like to learn about different languages? Well,  your answer is yes, Planet Word is the place for you. 

Planet Word is a museum in America.  brings words and languages to life in all kinds of  (interest) ways. 

When you get into the museum, you will see"Speaking Willow" first. It is a tall art piece and looks  a tree. When you get close to it, you can hear voices in  (hundred) of different languages coming from the tree. 

One room called"Where Do Words Come From"  (show) the history of some common English words. In the space, you can see the"Wall of Words". When you say  English word to the wall, it will tell you the origin（起源）of it. 

There is also a special room where visitors can learn how  (connect) the language with the culture. Ann Friedman was a reading and writing teacher. She started Planet Word to let more people learn about the words they use or  (hear). She hopes people can spend some more time  (visit) the museum. She says, "When they leave, they will have a better understanding of the world of languages around them. "

Do you know Xu Yuanchong? This  /'feIməs/ and great Chinese modern translator（翻译家）died in Beijing aged 100 in 2021. 

B in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province in 1921, he studied under Qian Zhongshu and Wu Mi at The National Southwest Associated University. Later, he went to University of Paris for further study after he  （完成）school from Tsinghua University. 

In his life, Xu translated about 120  /wɜːks/, including The Book of Songs, The Songs of Chu and The Red and the Black, with a special focus on poetry（诗歌）. Xu was also the only person in China who  （成功地）translated poetry to and from Chinese, English and F  , in a very beautiful way. His works are often chosen as textbooks for  （外国的）learners now. 

Xu paid much attention to the beauty of language. He would  /liːv/ something out and add something to make the translation more beautiful. He once was at the  （中心）of many hot debates（辩论）with other translators. But he was never afraid.

The Great Poet Bai Juyi

Bai Juyi was one of the best poets in China. He lived during the Tang dynasty. He always helped the poor around him when he was very young. _ , let them live with him, and cared for them in many other ways. 

In 820, Bai Juyi came back to Chang' an to work again, He wrote poems to show his feelings. In 822, he was asked to leave the capital. Then he worked as the city mayor of Hangzhou.  . In 826, Bai Juyi travelled with his friend, Liu Yuxi, to many beautiful places in South China.  . On their trip, they wrote poems to each other. In this way, they showed their understanding of each other's feelings.

It could. In 835, bccause of one suffering（痛苦）after another, he went to live in an old temple near Luoyang and called himself"Xiangshan Jushi". He died at the age of 75 in Luoyang.

Then Edward sees a cut on Tom's hand.

Edward runs out of the palace. He forgets about his clothes. He is wearing Tom's dirty old clothes. He runs to the gates and shouts, "Open the gates!"

The soldier laughs at Edward. He throws him out of the gates into the road. He closes the gates behind Edward. 

"I am Edward, the Prince, and I ask you to open the gates for me!" Edward shouts. 

But the soldier laughs. More and more people are laughing at the boy. 

Prince Edward shouts and shouts, "I am the Prince!" But nobody listens to him.

How long are your breaks between classes? Last September, many primary and middle schools in China started to change (they) class breaks from 10 to 15 minutes. This gives students and teachers more time for outdoor (activity).

Chinese schools used to have 10-minute breaks between classes. However, it was difficult students to go outside and play in the short break time. Some schools even (stop) students from leaving classrooms during breaks for safety reasons.

Education officials found the problem and (final) decided to improve school timetables. In Beijing, schools have taken some time from the lunch break (create) the 15-minute break. It doesn't change the total school hours. The morning arrival and afternoon leaving times for primary schools stay the same. While middle schools finish five minutes (late) than before, according to local education offices.
