Cartoons have been my favorite I was little. Cartoons not only bring me lots of laughter but also help me relax. I finish my homework, I will watch them on TV. 

There are of popular cartoon characters. For example, Snoopy always look so. Whenever Snoopy does funny things, I can't help  .

Everyone told me I was crazy when I give up my high-paying job, but it was the best decision of my life. 

Back then, I was 27 years old. I had spent five years working for a company in the centre of Chicago, US. My life didn't look anything like I wanted it to be. It was time for a change. 

I looked back on my life to discover my true interests. While my sales job taught me a lot about business, I was always crazy about exploration（探索）. I knew I wanted to live abroad and be free to discover more of the world I lived in. 

To make a living while staying abroad, I decided to teach English. I signed up for a 120-hour TEFL course to prepare for the job. It was scary at first. Moving abroad to be an English teacher wasn't something people just did. But I trusted myself and went for it anyway. 

Through teaching, I finally realize that giving is receiving, which is so different from my last job. Together with my co-teachers, I have helped people make their dreams come true. One of our graduates （毕业生）, Joan, sent us a handwritten note about how our course helped her do her job better. The most amazing moment was when one of our graduates came and started working with me as a teacher. It was like traveling back in time and seeing my own journey begin. 

Are you going through puberty（青春期）? You might have started puberty earlier than your parents did. 

Puberty begins when your body tells your brain to produce a kind of hormones（激素）. During puberty, teenagers grow quickly. 

Studies show that puberty is happening earlier. Take girls in the US for example. They are getting their periods（生理期）about six months earlier than they did many years ago. The average age used to be 12. 5 years old. But now it's just under 12. 

Many things can cause early puberty. Fatness is one of the key reasons. This may be because fat cells（细胞）produce estrogen（雌激素）, which is important for female body changes. Some unhealthy food as well as stress, may also be the reasons. 

Studies show that early puberty might increase the risk of health problems like breast cancer（乳腺癌）

and heart illness as well as shorter height. What's more, teenagers who start puberty earlier might feel angry. They might be treated differently because they look older or different, which can make them lose confidence. 

Girls face more troubles, Ye Zihua from the University of Illinois Urbana told German newspaper Die Welt. This is because they pay more attention to their bodies. 

So how to avoid early puberty? Doctors suggest that teenagers should eat healthily, do some sports, and get enough sleep. 

①Spring is the most exciting season of the year! Besides the warm weather, there are many cool things to learn about this time of year.

Our First Try

During the School Health Week, our team organized a fun sports day for the whole class. Here I want to introduce our first try to you.

In China, table culture is part of each meal, whether it is in a restaurant or in someone's home. Learning (act) properly at table will make people around us more comfortable. Then  should we pay attention to when dining?

The first one is the order of seats. Usually, round tables are the first (choose) for Chinese dining.The seat facing the door is the best one, usually for the main guest. As for the other seats, the (close)they are to the main guest, the better they are.

Second, if we are the host, we should arrive earlier at the door and introduce them to their seats. If we are invited to the meal, we should listen to the host and take  seat.

Third, we shouldn't ask the waiters the (dish) prices or bargain（讨价还价）with them when we order, which shows we are not generous. And that makes guests (feel) uncomfortable.

The last point to note is about eating manners. It is (polite) to urge（力劝）guests to take the dish,but it's acceptable to introduce the special dish. Whether they eat or not (depend) on themselves. It's also unwise to take a dish for guests, we are not sure whether they like it.
