Hello, I'm Tony. I live in a great neighbourhood. Now, I'd like to tell you the places I like to go in my free time. 

The first place is the park. The air there is fresh so I often go there. I only need to go along Centre Street and turn right(向右拐) at the first crossing. Then, I can see a restaurant. The park is across from it. 

The second one is the big supermarket. I can get there easily because it's just on the left of my home. A post office, a bank, and a hospital are also in my neighbourhood. It's very convenient(方便的). 

The third place I like to go is the library behind my home. I enjoy reading. Every Sunday, I spend about three hours in it. 

I love my neighbourhood. 

About 500 years ago in China, there was a traveler(旅行者). His name is Xu Xiake. 

Xu Xiake was from Jiangsu. When he was a child, Xu enjoyed reading books about Chinese mountains and rivers. He had a dream.  

At that time, many children studied very hard to become officials(官员). But Xu's father never made him take exams(考试).  Xu began to take a trip when he was about 20 years old. Before he left, his mother made him a hat. 

Xu went to many places in China. He climbed a lot of mountains and saw many rivers. And he also found the Yangtze River's headwater(源头). 

 He slept and ate outdoors. Sometimes he fell into rivers and had lots of difficulties. He wrote a book called Travel Diary of Xu Xiake. It is still popular today!

Early this spring, hundreds of students from Beijing Chenjinglun High School went to Huangshan in Anhui. It wasn't a usual trip. When enjoying their trip, they also needed to learn about geography there. 

Study tours are popular in Chinese schools. By taking a trip or tour, students can learn things not taught in the classroom and get to know more about history and nature(自然). 

Zhang Jiaqi, a 16­year­old from Dalian, had a study tour to a lavender(薰衣草) garden. There she enjoyed the beautiful flowers and also learned about the medicinal value(药用价值) of lavender, like helping people sleep. "I want to be a girl like the lavender, who is both beautiful and helpful, " Zhang said. 

Tan Wenjing and her classmates from Guangxi got to touch history by visiting the Hechi Revolutionary Memorial Hall. She and many students couldn't believe themselves when they heard the names of their grandparents in the stories behind pictures. "I never knew history could be so close to our lives, " said Tan. 

Now, more and more schools start to take study tours. 

My name is Lisa. I have a happy family. My sister finished high school two weeks ago. As a special gift, our parents took us to India. Last weekend was interesting but scary. 

We went camping in a small village in India. First, we took a long bus ride to a lake in the countryside. There we put up our tents and made a fire to keep us warm and cook food on.   △   But I was so tired that I went to sleep early. 

The next morning, my sister and I got a big amaze . When we looked out of our tent, we saw a big snake sleeping near the fire. I was so scared that I couldn't move. We shouted to our parents to let them know about the danger. My dad started to jump up and down in their tent. This woke the snake up and it moved into the forest near the lake. 

My dad told me later that snakes don't have ears but can feel things moving. He also told me that it was important not to go near a snake. This was a very useful lesson for me. 

My parents took me to my aunt's farm during the summer holiday. We 1  there for three days. We 2 at the farm in one afternoon. It was so hot! My aunt took me to a  3  near her house. There were some  4  swimming in the cool water. I started to think the farm wasn't so bad. Maybe I could  5  my holiday here.

 around your neighbourhood or going to a nearby park. It's never a good idea to stay in all the time. 

*Enjoy a great meal. You can go out to a restaurant to taste new dishes or  drinks. You can also have fun cooking at home. 

*Meet friends and family. Weekends are great for spending time

 family or friends. You can set up a game night for your family or have a good time with your friends.

As we all know, it is one of the four great classic  (novel) in China. The National Ballet of China first  (show) it as a ballet drama (芭蕾舞剧) in 2023.

The novel tells a story about the history of Jia Baoyu's large rich family and  (he) relationship with Lin Daiyu and Xue Baochai. It shows the  (beautiful) of women and the ancient Chinese society (社会). It has  deep influence (影响) at home and abroad.

There are many kinds  art styles, but the ballet drama can better show this Chinese classic novel. In order  (express) a better feeling, actors carefully make a winter snow stage. By adding Chinese silk into the ballet skirts, the designer Yang Donglin tries to achieve an aesthetic fusion (美学融合) of the East and the West.

You can imagine  special it is to see a classic Chinese story mixed with ballet. These great persons hope that the world will know China's history and culture  (good). And Chinese people will also have a good understanding of  (west) art.
